The Chicago Bulls (23-26, 13-10 Home), one of the league’s top shooting teams, welcome the Los Angeles Clippers (28-25, 14-14 Away) on Tuesday. Los Angeles was dismantled by the Cleveland Cavaliers 122-99 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Sunday. Brandon Boston Jr. was the scoring leader in the loss with 24 points.
Moses Brown was another key contributor with 13 points and 16 rebounds. The Clippers are fourth in the Western Conference. Chicago won in dominating fashion on Saturday at Amway Center, beating the Orlando Magic 128-109. DeMar DeRozan had 32 points and eight assists to lead the team.
The Bulls are the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference.It’s the first meeting of the season between the teams. Chicago won both matchups between the teams last season, the last of which was a 135-130 overtime triumph at United Center in March 2022. DeRozan led the Bulls with 50 points and six assists.
Reggie Jackson had 34 points and seven assists in defeat. The Clips have been led this season by Norman Powell, who is averaging 16.2 points per game.
Meanwhile, Ivica Zubac is grabbing 10.1 rebounds per game, eighth-most in the NBA, and Jackson is dishing 3.6 assists.DeRozan and Zach LaVine have supplied much of the Bulls’ offense, averaging 26.4 and 23.8 points per game, respectively.
DeRozan also has recorded 5.0 assists per game. Nikola Vucevic has posted 11.1 rebounds per game. The Bulls are one of the league’s most accurate field goal shooting teams, ranking fifth at 48.9%.The Clippers have had the advantage in recent games at United Center, winning seven of the last 10.
