LaMelo Ball had 17 points and nine assists for the Hornets. The Pels were led last season by Ingram, who averaged 22.7 points per game. Ingram also dished 5.6 assists per game. Meanwhile, Jonas Valanciunas grabbed 11.4 rebounds. Miles Bridges (20.2 ppg) was the primary provider of the Hornets’ offense last season. Mason Plumlee posted 7.7 rebounds per game, and Ball tallied 7.6 assists to lead the team. The Pelicans have had the advantage in the last 10 visits to Spectrum Center, winning six.
