Pascal Siakam was the top scorer with 23 points. Fred VanVleet was another key contributor with 15 points. Brooklyn lost in blowout fashion on Wednesday at Barclays Center, falling to the New Orleans Pelicans 130-108. Kevin Durant had 32 points and four blocks in defeat, leading the team. Toronto and Brooklyn split their matchups last season, winning two apiece. The Raptors took the last meeting 109-108 at Scotiabank Arena on March 1. Gary Trent Jr. led the Raptors with 24 points and seven assists. James Johnson had 19 points in defeat. Siakam averaged 22.8 points per game to lead the Raptors in scoring last season. Siakam also grabbed 8.5 rebounds per game. Meanwhile, VanVleet dished 6.7 assists. Durant (29.9 ppg) supplied much of the Nets’ offense last season. James Harden averaged 8.0 rebounds and 10.2 assists per game. The Raptors are 7-3 in the last 10 games at Barclays Center.
