Eugenio Suarez will be looking to extend his 17-game on-base streak as the Seattle Mariners (10-11) host the St. Louis Cardinals (8-13) at T-Mobile Park on Sunday with the home team eyeing a sweep of the three-game Interleague series.
The Mariners lead the series 1-0 after winning 5-2 on Friday. George Kirby got the win, giving up two runs on three hits over six innings, and Paul Sewald picked up his fifth save with a scoreless ninth.
Jarred Kelenic went 2 for 4 with a solo home run and a double in the win. Tommy Edman was 2 for 4 with a solo home run for the Cardinals.

Jack Flaherty (1-2, 2.95 ERA) is slated for the start for St. Louis. The RHP allowed four runs over six innings in his last start, a 6-3 home defeat against the Diamondbacks on Monday.
He was charged with the loss, scattering four hits while striking out four and walking three. For Seattle, RHP Chris Flexen (0-3, 7.79 ERA) gets the ball. It’s his first appearance of the season against the Cardinals.
In his last start on Monday, Flexen took the loss at home against the Brewers. He threw six innings and gave up four runs on six hits, striking out five and walking one in the 7-3 defeat.
