The Chicago White Sox got a big win on Saturday evening as they even up their three game weekend series with the American League Central division leading Cleveland Guardians. It was certainly a picture’s door is Johnny Cueto and Shane Bieber both going head to head and the game ended with a two to nothing victory for the White Sox. Chicago moves a game closer to first place in the AL Central division standings as they now sit two games out of first heading into their huge finale with Cleveland. 

The Cleveland guardians are the youngest team in baseball but they certainly don’t look like it as they currently sit in first place in the division and have been playing way above their expectations for this season. They are doing so even while debuting a number of future stars for their organization and define the odds against some of the best teams in baseball as well. They come into this game with a record of 64-55 through their first 119 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season.

New York Mets @ Philadelphia Phillies – 1:35PM ET

The New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies will be playing the fourth and final game of their four game series in this one. In game one of the series it was the Mets who got the win. In game number two the Mets got another win. In game three the Phillies finally grabbed a win.

The New York Mets will be looking to complete the series victory in Sunday’s finale after they split a doubleheader on Saturday. The Mets have had a little problem beating the Philadelphia Phillies the season as they now have 13 victories against them and only five losses heading into their final meeting of the year. They come into this game with a record of 78-44 through their first 122 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. They have picked up five victories and their last 10 games on the year but will come into this finale on a one game losing streak. 

The Philadelphia Phillies got a rare victory over New York on Saturday and they will be looking to parlay that momentum into a four-game series split with another win on Sunday. Philadelphia comes into this game 12 games above the .500 mark with a record of 66-54 through their first 120 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. The Phillies have won four out of their last 10 on the year and will come into this game on a one game winning streak as they will look to climb their way back into the playoff race in the National League.

Houston Astros @ Atlanta Braves – 7:15PM ET

The Houston Astros and Atlanta Braves will be playing the third and final game of their three game weekend series in this one. In game number one it was the Braves who got the win. In game number two Atlanta clinched the series and now will be looking for a sweep in game three.

The Atlanta Braves come into the finale of this three game series having already clinched the series after wins on Friday and Saturday. While a lot of people doubted the Braves coming into the season after losing Freddie Freeman they have looked great and they certainly look like a team that could repeat as World Series champions. They come into this game with a record of 75-47 through their first 122 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. They are red hot as of late as they have picked up nine victories in their last 10 games and coming to this game on a three game winning streak. 

The Houston Astros come into this game in first place of the American League West division. They currently have a record of 77-45 through their first 122 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. Houston will be looking to bounce back and avoid a sweep in Sunday’s finale as they have looked completely outmatched by the Atlanta Braves throughout the first two games of this series. Atlanta has outscored them 11 to 6 as Houston hasn’t had the offensive production they were expecting.

Toronto Blue Jays @ New York Yankees – 1:35PM ET

The Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees will be playing the fourth and final game of their four game weekend series in this one. The Blue Jays have won the first three games of this series. Now they will be going for a four game sweep in Sunday’s series finale.

The Toronto Blue Jays have now won the first three games of this four game weekend series as the New York Yankees struggles continue. Toronto is now in second place of the American League East division as they are slowly inching their way back into the division title race. They are eleven games above the .500 mark as they come into this game with a record of 65-54 through their first 119 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. They have now picked up five victories and their last 10 games on the year and will come into this game on a four game winning streak. 

The New York Yankees are getting so desperate for a win at this point. They have been absolutely abysmal since coming out of the All-Star break as they have lost eight out of their last 10 games on the year and come into this game on a three game losing streak. Due to their fast start to the season they still remain in first place in the division but their lead is shrinking more and more with each passing game. They come into this game with a record of 73-48 through their first 121 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season.

Boston Red Sox @ Baltimore Orioles – 7:10PM ET

The Boston Red Sox and Baltimore Orioles will be playing the third and final game of their three game weekend series in this one. In game one the Baltimore Orioles got the win. In game two the Red Sox bounced back with a victory. Now the winner of Sunday’s finale will take the series.

All season long the Red Sox have been up and down as they’ve been desperate to string some victories together as the final month of the season quickly approaches. They come into this game one game below the 500 Mark with 60 victories and 61 losses through their first 121 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. They have won Six out of the last 10 games over here and will come into this game on at one game winning streak. 

The Baltimore Orioles are coming into this game looking to take two out of three from the American League East division rivals. Baltimore is currently four games above the 500 mark through their first 120 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. As they come into this game with 62 victories and 58 losses on the season. However, they’ve been in a bit of a slump as of late as they have lost six out of their last 10 on the year and will come in to this one on one game losing streak as well.
