The Arizona Diamondbacks (40-25), one of the highest-scoring offenses in baseball, are set to host the Philadelphia Phillies (32-33) at Chase Field on Monday to open a four-game series.
The Phillies are playing their first of seven games on the road after wrapping up a productive six-game homestand (5-1). They won two out of three in their last series against the Dodgers, taking the finale 7-3 on Sunday at Citizens Bank Park.
Bryce Harper was 2 for 2 with one run and one RBI, walking twice. Bryson Stott added a triple, two runs, and two RBIs. The Diamondbacks are playing the first of seven games at home.
They are coming off a three-game sweep of the Tigers, taking the finale 7-5 on Sunday at Comerica Park for their fifth straight win. Corbin Carroll went 3 for 5 with a triple and a double. He scored two runs and drove in one. Pavin Smith added a home run and two RBIs.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
The Diamondbacks have won two of three in the season series between the teams, although they dropped a close one 6-5 in 10 innings in their last meeting on May 24 at Citizens Bank Park. Craig Kimbrel threw one scoreless inning in relief to get the win.
ON THE MOUND
Left-hander Tommy Henry (3-1, 4.37 ERA) will toe the rubber for Arizona. He has made one prior start against the Phillies this season, giving up two runs over 5.2 innings in a 6-3 road win on May 22. He gave up four hits and walked two while striking out five in the win.
In his last start on Tuesday, Henry took a no-decision on the road against the Nationals. He threw 4.1 innings and gave up five runs on five hits, striking out two and walking three in the 10-5 win.

The center fielder has 13 home runs, 33 RBIs, and 47 runs scored with a slash line of .301/.385/.565. Arizona is averaging 7.8 runs per game in the last five with a higher slash line (.307/.381/.500).

Philadelphia is 13-22 on the road in 2023, scoring 4.1 runs per game while allowing 5.5 runs. Arizona has gone 20-14 at their home ballpark this season, averaging 4.8 runs per game while surrendering 4.1. In the last 10 games between the teams at Chase Field, Arizona is 8-2 with an average scoreline of 6.3-4.6.
STANDINGS UPDATE
The Phillies are third in the NL East, nine games behind the division-leading Braves. The Diamondbacks lead the NL West by two games over the Dodgers.
