Cleveland Guardians @ Washington Nationals – 1:35PM ET

The Cleveland Guardians have picked up the first two victories of this series in come from behind fashion. Now they will be looking to complete the series sweep with another victory here on Sunday afternoon over the Washington Nationals. Their ace will be on the mound and Shane Bieber gets the night and this one as he looks to pick up another victory this season. With the momentum Cleveland has they should have no problem grabbing a third consecutive victory in this series and a third consecutive victory. Overall on the season as well.

The Washington Nationals failed to shut the door on the Cleveland Guardians for the second night in a row. As they once again jumped out to an early lead against Cleveland before they ended up blowing the lead during the middle and late innings of the ball game. Now they are coming to the third and final game of the series looking to avoid a three-game series sweep over the weekend. Patrick Corbin will be on the mound for Washington in this one. However, I think it’ll be the Cleveland Guardians that pick up their third victory of this series and complete the sweep.

Philadelphia Phillies @ Cincinnati Reds – 1:40PM ET

The Philadelphia Phillies were absolutely crushed by the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday afternoon. Now they will be looking to bounce back in the fourth and final game of this four game weekend series here on Sunday afternoon. This series is currently favoring the Reds as Philadelphia will be looking to clinch a split of this four-game series and avoid losing three out of four to Cincinnati. However, Philadelphia will have to improve a lot if they want to put on a better performance, and they did on Saturday as they gave up 13 runs and failed to score themselves.

The Cincinnati Reds come to this one with a wave of momentum after their huge victory on Saturday afternoon over Philadelphia. They put up 13 runs and held in Philadelphia scoreless to pick up their Second victory of the series as they now look to take three out of four from one of the top teams in the National League. It has been a less than stellar start to the season for Cincinnati, as they’ve only picked up six victories in their first 14 games of the year. However, I think they will use the momentum from yesterday’s victory to grab a third victory in this series here on Sunday afternoon.

Arizona Diamondbacks @ Miami Marlins – 1:40PM ET

The Arizona Diamondbacks will be sending their ace to the mound for this third and final game of the series against the Miami Marlins on Sunday afternoon. As Zac Gallen will be on the bump for Arizona, and they will be looking to close out the series with a victory over Miami. The Diamondbacks will be looking to avoid the sweep, as they have dropped the first two games of the series to the Marlins. It’s been an above average start to the season for them as they come into this game, one game above .500 through the first 15 games of the year. 

The Miami Marlins will also have their best pitcher on the mound, as Sandy Alcantara takes the bump for this series finale against the Arizona Diamondbacks. With another win here on Sunday they would officially sweep the three game weekend series against Arizona and it would be huge for their momentum heading into next week. It’s been an above average start to the season for them as they come into this game, one game above .500 through the first 15 games of the year. I expect this one to be a low-scoring duel between the two starting pitchers but in the end, I have Miami getting a third consecutive victory.

Atlanta Braves @ Kansas City Royals – 2:10PM ET

The Atlanta Braves just keep rolling, and now they have an opportunity to complete the sweep of the Kansas City Royals here on Sunday afternoon. Throughout the first two games of this series they have outscored Kansas City 19 to 6 and they have held them to three runs a piece through both games. They come into the finale of this one having picked up 11 victories in their first 15 games of the season and now they will look to add another sweep to their résumé early on in the year. 

It has been a rough start to the season for the Kansas City Royals, and it looks like their rebuild is going to continue way into the future as well. They come into this game seven games below .500 as they have only managed to win four games in their first 15 of the season. It isn’t going to get much better for them as they now are looking to avoid a three-game series sweep at the hands of Atlanta. I look for Atlanta to get another blowout victory in the third and final game of the series as well.

Baltimore Orioles @ Chicago White Sox – 2:10PM ET

The Baltimore Orioles squandered a huge opportunity to clinch this series against the Chicago White Sox on Saturday. Now they will be looking to bounce back during Sunday’s finale and take two out of three from Chicago to close out the weekend. Grayson Rodriguez will be on the mound for Baltimore in this one going up against Dylan Cease for Chicago so he will have to put out his best performance of the season to date. As the Orioles look to win the series and grab some momentum heading into the week.

The Chicago White Sox got a one run victory yesterday to even up the series and now they come into  Sunday’s rubber match, looking to take two out of three from the Baltimore Orioles. Dylan Cease will be on the mountain for Chicago, which gives them the advantage of this one in my opinion, as he is rolling so far this season. Into this game, searching for his third victory of the season and I look for him to have a solid performance and leave the Chicago White Sox to a victory here on Sunday afternoon.
