The Atlanta Braves will be looking to bounce back after they were blown out by the Philadelphia Phillies in game number three of the series on Wednesday night in Philadelphia. It is now win or go home for the Atlanta Braves and it would be a depressing end to the season after they finished the regular season as the best team in all of Major League Baseball. However, it seems as if that week off between the end of the regular season, and the wildcard round is hurting them more than anything right now, and it looks like it will cost them for the second consecutive season, as they are staring down the barrel of a second consecutive elimination by the Philadelphia Phillies. Atlanta will be looking to grab a crucial victory and send the series back to Atlanta for game five with a win here on Thursday night.
The Philadelphia Phillies are on the doorstep of closing out the Atlanta Braves for the second consecutive season as they look to book another trip back to the National League Championship Series to defend their National League pennant. Philadelphia has looked strong throughout the postseason after a slow start to the regular season put a lot of doubt on them coming into the middle part of the year. They will be looking to put together one more consistent game, and their third victory of this series advance to the National League championship series to the winner of the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Arizona Diamondbacks series. Unfortunately for Philadelphia I look for Atlanta to bounce back and grab the victory in this game to force a game later this week.
