The Los Angeles Dodgers (43-34) take one of the highest-scoring offenses in MLB on the road to face the Colorado Rockies (31-49) at Coors Field on Tuesday to open a three-game series.
The Dodgers are playing their first of six games on the road. They won two out of three in their last series against the Astros, dropping the finale 6-5 on Sunday at Dodger Stadium. Mookie Betts was 1 for 3 with a home run, two runs, and two RBIs.
The Rockies are in the midst of a nine-game homestand. They won two of three against the Angels in their last series, taking the finale 4-3 on Sunday at Coors Field. Ezequiel Tovar went 2 for 4 with a home run and two RBIs.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
The Dodgers have won all two games this season between the NL West rivals, including a 5-2 victory in their most recent meeting on April 4 at Dodger Stadium.
Starter Julio Urias threw six scoreless innings – striking out six – to get the win, and Evan Phillips pitched 0.2 scoreless innings to earn his first save of the season.
