The Los Angeles Angels (42-36) are on the road to face the Colorado Rockies (30-49) at Coors Field on Sunday with the three-game Interleague series in the balance.
The Angels leveled the series 1-1 after winning 25-1 on Saturday. Griffin Canning threw six scoreless innings – striking out seven – to get the win.
Mickey Moniak was 5 for 5 with a home run and three doubles in the win. He scored five runs and had four RBIs. Hunter Renfroe also went 5 for 5 with two doubles, three runs, and four RBIs. Brenton Doyle went 1 for 3 with a solo home run for the Rockies.
ON THE MOUND
Tyler Anderson (4-1, 5.64 ERA) is in line to start for Los Angeles. The LHP allowed two runs over five innings in his last start, a 5-2 road win over the Royals on June 18. He earned the win, yielding six hits while striking out six and walking one.
