The Marlins evened the series 1-1 after winning 5-1 on Saturday. Reliever Steven Okert was credited with the win after throwing one scoreless inning.
Jorge Soler was 3 for 3 with one run in the win. Andrew Vaughn went 1 for 3 with a solo home run for the White Sox.

Braxton Garrett (2-2, 4.47 ERA) is slated to take the mound for Miami. The southpaw allowed four runs over five innings in his last start, a 9-6 road win over the Royals on Monday. He was credited with the win, giving up six hits while striking out six.
For Chicago, RHP Lucas Giolito (5-4, 3.75 ERA) takes the mound. It’s his first appearance of the season against the Marlins. In his last start on Tuesday, Giolito got the win on the road against the Yankees. He threw six scoreless, no-hit innings, striking out seven and walking three in the 3-2 victory.
