The Arizona Diamondbacks (19-15), one of the top lineups in the National League, are set to host the Miami Marlins (17-18) at Chase Field on Monday to open a three-game series.

The Diamondbacks are in the midst of a 10-game homestand. They won two of three against the Nationals in their last series, dropping the finale 9-8 on Sunday at Chase Field. Lourdes Gurriel Jr. went 2 for 3 with two home runs, four runs, and four RBIs. Ketel Marte added a triple, one run, and one RBI.

The Marlins have won two of three in the season series between the teams, although they suffered a 5-0 defeat in their last meeting on April 16 at loanDepot park. Starter Zac Gallen threw 6.2 scoreless innings – striking out seven – for the win.

In his last start on Tuesday, Gallen took a no-decision on the road against the Rangers. He threw five innings and gave up three runs on seven hits, striking out six, in the 6-4 loss. The righty ranks second in the NL in strikeouts (57) and tied for third in wins.
