Baylor vs. West Virginia

No. 2 ranked Baylor looks to rebound after suffering their first loss of the season, falling to Kansas on Saturday, 71-58. Baylor had won their first 18 games of the season, but now look to regroup against a very good West Virginia team.

Baylor is one of the best all-around teams in the country, allowing 63.7 points per game, 42nd overall, while netting 84.9 points per contest, fourth in the country. They are 17th in field-goal percentage at 49.5% and first in three-point shooting at 42.1%.

Jared Butler leads the Bears in scoring at 16.4 ppg. Three other Baylor players are averaging in double digits, including MaCio Teague at 14.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per game.

No. 13 West Virginia is going to be quite a challenge for the Bears. The Mountaineers have won three straight games and seven of their last eight overall. They defeated Kansas State on Saturday, 65-43 in their only loss in the last eight was a one-point defeat in overtime to Oklahoma.

Arkansas vs. South Carolina

No. 20 ranked Arkansas is looking for their seventh straight victory. They defeated LSU on Saturday, 83-75. The Razorbacks have been flexing their muscles of late, beating LSU, Alabama, Florida, and Kentucky during their winning streak. They are 11-4 in the SEC and are looking to secure at least a No. 4 seed for the NCAA tournament.

Arkansas is an outstanding offensive club, averaging 82.4 ppg, 12th in the nation. They are averaging 65.3 shots per game, sixth overall, connecting on 45.0%. They are 15th in the country in rebounds at 37.2 per game.

Arkansas is led by Moses Moody who is averaging 16.6 points and 5.7 rebounds per contest. Justin Smith is the leading rebounder at 6.9 boards per game and is averaging 12.1 points per contest.

South Carolina defeated Georgia on Saturday, 91-70. That snapped a six-game losing streak. The Gamecocks are 4-10 in the conference and 6-12 overall. They are averaging 73.7 ppg while allowing 77.4 points per contest. Like Arkansas, South Carolina likes to take a lot of shots, averaging 64.7 per game, eighth in the country. They are connecting on 42.2% of their attempts.

South Carolina is led in scoring by AJ Lawson, averaging 17.4 ppg. Keyshawn Bryant (14.4) and Jermaine Couisnard (10.2) are also averaging in double digits.

Auburn vs. Alabama

No. 7 ranked Alabama welcomes archrival Auburn. The Crimson Tide defeated Mississippi State on Saturday, 64-59. They are 4-2 over their last six games but have covered the spread in just one of those games. Alabama is leading the SEC at 14-2 and are 19-6 overall.

Alabama is averaging 77.9 ppg, 44th in the country. They are allowing 76.9 points per contest, ranking in the bottom 30 in the nation. This is not a great shooting team, but they take lots of shots, 73rd in the country at 60.5 shots per game.

Sharife Cooper is having a monster season, averaging 20.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 8.1 assists per game. Three other Crimson Tide players are averaging in double digits, including Justin Powell who leads the team with 6.1 rebounds per game and is averaging 11.7 points per contest.

Auburn is coming off a 77-72 victory over Tennessee on Saturday. That snapped a three-game losing streak. It has been a tough run for the Tigers of late, as they are just 4-6 over their last 10 games. Auburn is 6-10 in the SEC and 12-13 overall.

Illinois vs. Michigan

The duo of Hunter Dickinson and Isaiah Livers are leading the way for the Wolverines. Dickinson leads the team in both points and rebounds at 14.8 points and 7.8 rebounds per contest. Livers is averaging 14.5 points and 6.2 boards per game.

Texas Christian vs. Texas Tech

No. 17 Texas Tech welcomes Texas Christian. Texas Tech is 7-7 in the Big 12 and 15-8 overall. They are competing for a better seating in the NCAA tournament, and will need victories in each of their remaining contests to secure a top eight spot in a bracket. The Red Raiders defeated Texas on Saturday, 68-59. That snapped a three-game losing streak, but they have covered the spread only twice in the last nine games.

Tech is averaging 73.2 ppg while allowing 63.2 points per contest, 35th overall. This is a solid but not spectacular shooting team, averaging 43.5% from the floor and 33.8% from three-point range.

The Red Raiders are led by Mac McClung, averaging 16.8 ppg. Kevin McCullar leads the team in rebounds at 6.6 per game and is third in scoring at 10.6 per contest.
