The Baylor Bears (3-0) will be out to add to their winning run when they head to face the Virginia Cavaliers (2-0) on Friday. Baylor dominated the Northern Colorado Bears 95-62 at Ferrell Center on Monday, their third consecutive win. With 20 points, LJ Cryer was the top scorer.
Dale Bonner was another key contributor with 12 points and six steals.Virginia won in impressive fashion on Friday at John Paul Jones Arena, beating the Monmouth Hawks 89-42. Isaac McKneely had 15 points to lead the team in scoring. With 13 points, six rebounds, and three blocks, Ryan Dunn also impressed.
The Bears have been led so far this season by Adam Flagler (17.3 ppg), Keyonte George (16.0), and Jalen Bridges (16.0). Flagler also has dished 7.7 assists per game, seventh-most in the country. Meanwhile, Caleb Lohner is grabbing 6.3 rebounds per game.
Armaan Franklin’s 14.5 points per game have powered the Cavaliers on offense. Jayden Gardner is posting 7.0 rebounds per game, and Kihei Clark is doling out 6.0 assists.
