The No. 14 Indiana Hoosiers (8-1, 1-1 Big 10) and their superb defense play host to the No. 10 Arizona Wildcats (7-1, 1-1 Pac-12) and their outstanding offense on Saturday. Arizona topped the California Golden Bears 81-68 at McKale Memorial Center on Sunday.
Azuolas Tubelis had a standout performance with 25 points and 12 rebounds. The Wildcats remain sixth in the Pac-12 Conference. Indiana won their seventh in a row at home on Wednesday at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall, beating the Nebraska Cornhuskers 81-65. Trey Galloway recorded 20 points to lead the team in scoring.
With 12 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, and three blocks, Trayce Jackson-Davis also produced a strong performance. The Hoosiers remain fifth in the Big Ten Conference. The Wildcats have been led this season by Tubelis and Oumar Ballo, who are averaging 20.1 and 19.1 points per game, respectively.
Ballo also has grabbed 9.3 rebounds per game. Meanwhile, Kerr Kriisa is dishing 7.8 assists per game.Jackson-Davis has been the primary provider of the Hoosiers’ offense, averaging 15.6 points per game. Jackson-Davis also has averaged 7.9 rebounds per game.
Xavier Johnson has doled out 4.6 assists per game.The Wildcats rank fifth in the NCAA in offensive efficiency, while the Hoosiers are 21st in defensive efficiency.
