Kansas City comes into this game looking to pull off the upset of the century against the top five team in the country here on Tuesday night on the road at the Fieldhouse. It has been an underwhelming start to the season for them as they come into this game as losers of five out of their first eight games on the season, and they will be looking for their fourth victory of the year here on Tuesday night against the Jayhawks. This will be a massive momentum boosting victory for Kansas City if they could find a way to get the job done in one of the toughest venues in all of college basketball but they will need to play an amazing game if they want to do that. They have a little bit of momentum coming into this game after winning their previous contest by 30 points. The victory and their previous game broke a lengthy losing streak for Kansas City and now they will look for a second consecutive victory. As they will be looking to upset the Jayhawks here in this one and grab their fourth victory of the regular season. 

The Kansas Jayhawks started out the season ranked number one in the country, and after falling all the way down to number five they have made their way back up to the number two ranking. They have been putting up quality performances over the last week, and they will be looking to record another quality performance here at home on Tuesday night against Kansas City to further establish themselves as a legitimate national title contender. Kansas comes into this game with seven victories through their first eight games of the regular season and they will be looking for their eighth one of the year here on Tuesday night at home. This game will be nothing more than a glorified scrimmage for the Kansas Jayhawks if all the chips fall correctly as they should pick up a very comfortable victory in this game at home on Tuesday night. This is one of those games where you get the test out the depth of your bench as you get plenty of players involved, as long as nothing goes wrong throughout the game. Not only do I look for Kansas to pick up here on Tuesday night, but I also look for them to cover the spread as well.

Arkansas Pine Bluff @ #11 Gonzaga – 9PM ET

Arkansas Pine Bluff comes into this game after losing to Oklahoma and their previous game and now they will face their second consecutive nationally ranked team. As they head up to Spokane to play the Gonzaga Bulldogs here in this one. They will be looking for a huge victory over Gonzaga as they look to get some momentum rolling in the right direction throughout the early part of December. They come into this game hovering below 500 through their first nine games of the regular season and they will be looking for their fifth win of the year here on Tuesday night as they look to get back to the .500 mark. They come into this game averaging around 87 points per game on the offensive end of the court but they’re downfall has been their performance on the defensive end of the court as they are giving up around 85 points per game this season. They will need to find a way to shut down a solid Gonzaga offense if they want to pick up a victory here on Tuesday night on the road in the Pacific Northwest. 

The Gonzaga Bulldogs come into this game looking for a solid early season victory at home against Arkansas Pine Bluff, as they look to continue racking up victories throughout their nonconference schedule. Gonzaga comes into this game ranked 11th and the country and they will be looking for another victory as they like to get themselves back into the top 10 before the brand new year comes around and they head into their West Coast Conference games. They shed the title of a mid-major several years ago but they are still chasing that elusive national championship and they will be hoping that this year is the year they can finally reach the top of the mountain. They come into this game with six victories through their first seven games of the regular season and they will be looking for their seventh win of the year here on Tuesday night at home. That is exactly what I expect from Gonzaga here on Tuesday night as I look for them to pick up the victory and cover the spread in the process.

Seton Hall @ #9 Baylor – 9PM ET

Seton Hall is off to a respectable start to the regular season, and they will be looking to head to Waco and pick up an upset victory here on Tuesday night against the Baylor Bears. They have gotten off to a solid start of the year. They will be looking to maintain that solid start of the season as I live to pick up a huge résumé. Boosting win in this game and further establish themselves as a legitimate NCAA tournament team this season as well. Seton Hall comes into this game as winners of five out of their first seven games on the season and they will be looking for their sixth victory of the year here on Tuesday night against Baylor. They have been playing quality basketball on the defensive end of the court as they are only giving up around 66 points per game throughout their first seven games of the regular season. They come to this game with some momentum after picking up a victory in their previous game. They will be looking for a second consecutive win here on Tuesday. 

The Baylor Bears are off to a respectable start to the regular season, and they will be looking to keep them minimum rolling here on Tuesday night at home against a quality mid-major Seton Hall team. Baylor comes into this game undefeated through their first eight games of the regular season and they will be looking for a ninth consecutive victory here in Waco. They come into this game ranked just outside of the top five in the country as they are ranked sixth right now, and they will be looking to further move up with some more quality performances throughout this week. They have had one of the best offenses in all of college basketball throughout the early part of the year as they are averaging 92 points per game, and their defense has been solid as well as they are giving up less than 70 points per game this season. I expect this to be a close and competitive game throughout the entirety of the contest, but in the end, I do look for Baylor to pick up the victory at home over Seton Hall. 

Evansville @ #19 BYU – 9PM ET

Evansville comes into this game looking to pick up a solid set on the road in Provo against a nationally ranked BYU team. They are off to a quality performance this season, and they come into this game with seven victories through their first eight games of the year. This will be the toughest test they have faced all season up until this point and they will be looking to pass it with flying colors and give themselves a huge momentum boost heading into the rest of the month with a victory here on Tuesday over BYU. The Purple Aces come into this game averaging around 85 points per game on the offensive end of the court and they will be looking to maintain that average in this game against BYU. They have a little bit of momentum coming into this game after beating Northern Iowa in overtime in their previous contest and now they will be looking for their second consecutive victory here on Tuesday night against BYU. They come into this game as winners of four out of their last five, and they will be looking to carry that into another victory here in this one.

BYU is off to a solid start to the regular season and they will be looking to maintain that start with a solid game here on Tuesday night at home against Evansville. They come into this game undefeated and they are ranked 14th in the country and they will be looking to further establish themselves as a legitimate threat with another victory here on Tuesday night at home against Evansville. They have looked solid on the offensive end of the court this season as they come into this game as one of the few teams in the country averaging over 90 points per game, and they will be looking to maintain that average with another solid performance. They have also been solid on the defensive end of the court as they are giving up less than 60 points per game this season and that will likely lead the long-term success if they can maintain an average like that throughout the year. I expect them to have another quality performance in this game on Tuesday night as I look for BYU to pick up the victory and cover the spread in the process.

#25 San Diego State @ Grand Canyon – 9PM ET

San Diego State is off to a great start to the regular season and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here in this one, as they look to build off their national championship game appearance last season. They were ranked much higher entering the season, but now they find themselves clinging onto the back end of the top 25, and they will be looking to get things going in the right direction throughout this game against Grand Canyon on the road on Tuesday night. They come into this game with seven victories through their first eight games of the regular season and they will be looking for their eighth one of the year here on Tuesday night on the road as they look to further establish themselves as a legitimate top 25 team in the country. They arguably have a solid loss on their résumé after losing the BYU a couple weeks ago and as of right now they look like a top 20 team in the country and that is something they will be looking to get back to you with a victory here on Tuesday night against Grand Canyon. 

Grand Canyon will be looking to pull off the website of a solid San Diego State team here at home on Tuesday night. They have a huge opportunity to get a win over last year’s national runner up if they can pull off the victory on Tuesday at home it would give them a huge momentum boost heading into the rest of their nonconference schedule as well. They are off to a quality start to the regular season and they come into this game with six victories through their first seven games of the regular season. They come to this game averaging around 80 points per game on the season but they will have a tough time going up against one of the best defenses in college basketball throughout the early part of the year. Will need to play an efficient game of basketball if they want to pick up the victory in this game on Tuesday night at home against San Diego State. However, unfortunately for Grand Canyon, I don’t see that happening as I look for San Diego State to pick up the victory and cover the spread on the road.
