Houston has opened up the season with three massive blowout victories over mid major schools and I don’t see this game being any different here on Thursday night despite the fact that they will be playing away from home for the first time this season. As I look for Houston’s high flying offense to continue putting up a massive amount of points on the scoreboard throughout this game on Thursday night and for their defense to be lock down like usual, as they look to cruise to a fourth consecutive victory to open up the season.
Towson comes into this game looking to pick up a massive momentum boosting victory here on Thursday night against the number six ranked Houston Cougars. They have picked up two victories in their first three games of the season and they will be looking for their third victory of the year here on Thursday night against Houston as they look to give themselves a huge résumé building victory early on in the regular season. After opening up their season with a blowout loss to the Colorado Buffaloes they have bounced back with two consecutive victories, and they will be looking for a third consecutive victory here on Thursday night against Houston. They will need to play a very efficient game here on Thursday night to get the job done as they will have to make their shots every time down the floor and control the pace of this contest. Unfortunately for them I just do not see that happening as I look for Houston to cruise to a fourth consecutive comfortable victory and cover the spread in the process.
