Colgate is off to a respectable start to the regular season as they have won six out of their first 10 games on the year and they will look for their seventh victory of the season here on Sunday afternoon against Illinois. They look to pull off the upset victory here on Sunday afternoon as they look to get some momentum rolling in the right direction throughout the rest of December and they look to carry it into 2024 as well. This would be a massive momentum boost for this team, and it would be a huge résumé building victory as well throughout the middle part of the season as they gear up and get ready to head into conference play in a couple of weeks. They have put up respectable numbers on both ends of the court as they are scoring over 70 points per game and giving up under 70 points per game and they will look to use that to their advantage to pick up a much-needed victory here in this one on Sunday.

Illinois is off to a quality start to the regular season and they come into this game ranked inside the top 25 in the country. They will add another nonconference victory to their record before they get ready to head into conference play in one of the deepest conferences in the country this season. They are currently ranked 16th in the country and they will look to further establish themselves as a top 25 team with another quality performance here in this game against a respectable mid-major school like Colgate. Illinois comes into this game with seven victories through their first nine games of the regular season and they will look for their eighth victory of the season here on Sunday night at home against the Raiders. That is exactly what I expect as I look for them to pick up the win in this game and cover the spread at home in the process.

Colorado State Pueblo @ #17 Colorado State – 6pm ET

Colorado State is off to a fantastic start to the regular season as they come into this game as winners of nine out of their first 10 games on the year. It will look to make it 10 out of 11 with a comfortable victory here on Sunday night at home against one of their branch schools here in this one. This game doesn’t provide much opportunity outside of a little bit of momentum boost, and the ability to get more of their players on the floor throughout this game to test how much depth they will have going into the late stages of the regular season. They have been stingy on the defensive end of the court, and they have been highflying on the offensive end of the court, and has  led to long-term success for them throughout the first 10 games of the year.

They will look to maintain that success with another quality performance here on Sunday night at home as they look to grab their 10th victory of the season before they get ready to head into conference play at the end of the calendar year. Colorado State will also look to bounce back after suffering their first loss of the season and their previous game against Saint Mary’s College as they look to get right back into the win column with another quality performance here on Sunday night at home. Not only do I look for them to pick up the victory in this game, but I expect for them to cover the spread here in this one at home as well. As I look for for them to pick up the blowout here in this one on Sunday night, and keep the momentum rolling throughout the second half of December.
