The Miami Marlins (23-22) are on the road to face the San Francisco Giants (21-23) at Oracle Park on Saturday. The Giants took Friday’s series opener 4-3, their fourth straight victory overall and second in four games against the Marlins this season.

Braxton Garrett (1-2, 5.40 ERA) is in line to take the mound for Miami. The southpaw allowed one run over five innings in his last start, a 3-1 road win over the Reds on Sunday. He scattered three hits while striking out eight and walking one in the no-decision.
Garrett is making his first appearance against the Giants this season. Garrett made one start against the Giants in 2022, a 5-1 home loss on June 5. He surrendered four runs on five hits over 3.1 innings, striking out five and walking one.
Right-hander Logan Webb (3-5, 3.20 ERA) will toe the rubber for San Francisco. He has made one prior start against the Marlins this season, giving up four runs over 6.2 innings in a 4-3 road defeat on April 17. He gave up eight hits while striking out six in the loss.
In his last start on Sunday, Webb took a no-decision on the road against the Diamondbacks. He threw seven innings and gave up one run on three hits, striking out three and walking three in the 2-1 loss.
