Aston Villa vs Leeds

Saturday, October 24, 6.00 am (ET)

At the start of the season, nobody thought Aston Villa would be in second place especially ending last season a point off from relegation, but here we are.

Aston Villa has been one to keep an eye on as they have made some fantastic signings throughout the summer window such as signing young striker Ollie Watkins and Ross Barkley on loan, the duo has seemed to be the missing link and let’s not forget the performances of midfield captain Jack Grealish.

Aston Villa may have only played four games in the Premier League so far, but they remain undefeated heading into the Leeds game. In particular, it has been Aston Villa’s last two games that have caught the attention to the west midlands club as they have knocked off the Premier League champions Liverpool in a blistering 7-2 win and defeating top four candidate Leicester City.

However, their match against Leeds won’t be an easy task as Marcelo Bielsa’s men have somewhat been the surprise team in the Premier League despite sitting in 10th place.

Leeds is not afraid to attack as they took Liverpool all the way on the opening day however, they lost the match 4-3. The next week against Fulham their attacking display was on again this time winning 4-3.

Since then they have not leaked as many goals and have picked up some valuable points along the way winning against Sheffield United, and picking up a handy draw. That draw came against Manchester City as they ended the game with a 1-1 result. The City draw could be considered their biggest scalp so far.

Last week they took Wolverhampton Wanderers all the way but fell off in the last half hour of play when they conceded a goal in the 70th minute and lost the match.

Prediction: Aston Villa win +130

Manchester United vs Chelsea

Sunday, October 25, 3.30 am (ET)

This contest is always one to keep an eye on as Manchester United host Chelsea at Old Trafford. This is also an interesting one on many accounts as both have somewhat have had a disappointing start to the season. United currently sit in 15th place as they have only managed two wins from their last four Premier League games, but a 2-1 over PSG in the Champions League could boost their spirits.

It has somewhat been the same situation for Chelsea who has a slightly better record when it comes to the Premier League as they sit in eighth spot. However, they have also won two games out of their five Premier League fixtures. A 0-0 draw in the Champions League against Sevilla will also hold Frank Lampard’s men in high spirits as they kept a clean sheet.

Both teams are defensively fragile at the back and it has been no secret that Chelsea is unsettled when it comes to their defense and goalkeeper issues especially when they have conceded nine goals from five Premier League games. United, on the other hand, are in a more dire position than their London rivals as they have conceded 12 goals in the Premier League, including a 6-1 hammering from Tottenham.

Prediction: Draw +260

Arsenal vs Leicester City

Monday, October 26, 6.15 am (ET)

Arsenal host Leicester City in what is arguably one of the most interesting games in game week six. Leicester are one place above the Gunners on the Premier League table despite both teams sharing the same amount of points (nine), however, Leicester does have a better goal difference.

Arsenal’s last five Premier League fixtures have consisted of three wins (two of which came in the opening two weeks of the Premier League season) and two defeats, albeit those defeats came from Liverpool and Manchester City. However, the City defeat occurred last weekend so Arsenal would want to bounce back.

Meanwhile, Leicester’s last five Premier League games have consisted of three wins which occurred in the first three games of the season, including a smashing 5-2 win over Manchester City in game week three. However, the Foxes last two games have somewhat been dismal as they have dropped games against West Ham and conceded a 90th-minute goal against Aston Villa.

Prediction: Arsenal win -110
