The 2021 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs are in full swing! With just the one game on the agenda today we have had plenty of time to research the fixture in depth and bring you the absolute best predictions. Have a read below for all our NHL picks.
Montreal Canadiens @ Vegas Golden Knights (Semi Final – Game 2) – 9.00 PM EDT
A 4-1 defeat in Game 1 was not how the Montreal side wanted to come out of the gate, however, the scoreline didn’t flatter the Habs, who attempted just 1 less shot than the Knights, and won 7 more faceoffs.
For the Knights it was a perfect start, and was in keeping with their trend of big wins in the postseason. After 14 games in the postseason the Knights have won 9 and lost 5, and all but 2 of those wins have come by a margin greater than 1 goal, showing that when they win they are doing so convincingly.
Shea Theodore was the main man in the win, taking less than 10 minutes to open the scoring with the first goal of his postseason before assisting another early in the second.

Cole Caulfield pulled one back for the Habs, capitalizing on the man advantage with the only powerplay goal of the game, but it was short lived, with the Golden Knights reclaiming their 2 goal cushion less than a minute later.
Taking just 1 shot more than their opponent, the Knights owe a lot of the victory to a solid showing from Marc-Andre Fleury in net. The veteran shot stopper kept the Habs to just 1 goal, making 27 saves for his best performance since game 4 against the Wild back in May.
The Knights get the home advantage for one more game today before heading to Montreal for games’ 3 and 4, and with the dominant string of performances they have put up in Vegas recently we will not be betting against DeBoer’s men today.
