The San Jose Sharks (13-22-8), one of the NHL’s top penalty killing teams, play host to the Edmonton Oilers (22-18-3) and their opportunistic power play offense at SAP Center at San Jose on Friday.Edmonton is coming off a high-scoring 6-2 win over the Ducks on Wednesday.

San Jose fell 4-3 to the Kings on Wednesday. Timo Meier, Nick Bonino, and Tomas Hertl scored one apiece for the Sharks. Meier added an assist to lead the team in scoring. James Reimer saved only 33 of 37 shots against (.891%) in the loss.
