Two of the league’s most penalized teams are set to face off at Canadian Tire Centre on Monday, as the Ottawa Senators (11-14-2) welcome the Anaheim Ducks (7-18-3). Anaheim is playing their first of five games on the road coming off a 6-1 loss against the Sharks on Friday.
The Ducks committed six penalties in the game, conceding one power play goal. Trevor Zegras scored the only goal for the Ducks. John Gibson started in the loss and only had 15 saves on 19 shots against (.789%).Ottawa beat the Predators 3-2 on Saturday.
Drake Batherson, Alex DeBrincat, and Claude Giroux scored one apiece for the Senators. Batherson added an assist to share the scoring lead with Shane Pinto, who had two assists. Cam Talbot saved 27 of 29 shots in the win (.931%).

The Senators won the first meeting between the teams this season, a 5-1 victory in November. Derick Brassard and Mathieu Joseph each had three points (1G 2A) to lead Ottawa. Max Jones scored Anaheim’s only goal. Talbot got the win, saving 31 of 32 shots (.968%).
