The league’s two highest volume shooting teams are set to square off at Prudential Center on Saturday, as the Florida Panthers (14-13-4) are on the road to face the New Jersey Devils (21-7-2). Florida is coming off a 4-2 loss against the Penguins on Thursday.
The Panthers conceded two power play goals while failing to take advantage of their own power play opportunities. Ryan Lomberg and Sam Reinhart each scored once for the Panthers. Sergei Bobrovsky saved 35 of 38 shots in the loss.
New Jersey dropped their fourth straight game, falling 2-1 to the Flyers on Thursday. Jack Hughes netted the only goal for the Devils. Vitek Vanecek had 22 saves in the loss.

The Panthers won two of the three games between the teams last season, including a 7-6 (OT) victory in their final meeting in April. Five players had two points for Florida. Yegor Sharangovich led New Jersey with three goals. Spencer Knight saved six shots to earn the shutout win.

With 39 points this season, seventh-most in the NHL, Matthew Tkachuk is the top skater for the Panthers. He is among the league leaders with 25 assists (9th) and has added 14 goals of his own. In the net, Knight (8-4-3) is Florida’s top goaltender by goals against average. He has a 2.64 GAA and a .919% save percentage.
Bobrovsky (6-8-1) leads the Panthers in games played in goal. He has a GAA of 3.35 and a save percentage of .889%. Hughes leads the Devils in scoring with 35 points. He has 16 goals and 19 assists. Vanecek (12-2-2) is the top goalie for New Jersey with a goals against average of 2.39. He has a save percentage of .912%.

Florida is 6-9-1 on the road this season. New Jersey is looking to reverse a three-game home losing streak this season.
