Two teams trending in different directions battle at Bridgestone Arena on Tuesday as the Nashville Predators (24-18-6) will be looking to add to their winning run when they play host to the floundering Vegas Golden Knights (29-18-4). Vegas is coming off a 2-1 overtime loss against the Islanders on January 28, their fourth defeat in a row.
The Golden Knights committed only one penalty in the game, holding New York without a power play goal. William Carrier scored the only goal for the Golden Knights. Logan Thompson saved an impressive 36 of 38 shots (.947%) in the loss.
Nashville is wrapping up a four-game homestand after an exciting 6-4 win over the Devils on January 26, their third consecutive win. Six players found the net for the Predators. Juuse Saros surrendered four goals on 39 shots (.897%).
