Edmonton Oilers @ Carolina Hurricanes – 7PM ET

Tony Battalio

It has been a rough start to the regular season for the Edmonton Oilers and they will be looking to continue getting things turned around with a quality performance here on Wednesday in Carolina. An early season injury to Connor McDavid put the Edmonton Oilers behind the eight ball throughout the early part of the year. However, they will be looking to recover throughout the remainder of November, and into the final month of the calendar year. Edmonton comes into this game well under .500 and they will be looking for a solid victory to get things rolling in the right direction here on Wednesday night on the road against the Hurricanes. They come into this game with 12 losses through their first seventeen games of the regular season and they will be looking for their sixth victory of the season here on Wednesday night on the road.

Carolina comes into this game looking to get a solid victory at home against the Edmonton Oilers here on Wednesday night. They are off to a quality start this season, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here in this one heading into Thanksgiving and rounding out the month of November. They come into this game with 10 victories through their first 17 games of the season and they will be looking for their 11th victory here on Wednesday night at home against a struggling Edmonton Oilers team. This was arguably one of those games on the schedule that was circled when the schedule was released, but because of the way Edmonton has struggled and it has likely lost its luster throughout the last month. However, I still look for this to be a competitive and quality matchup here on Wednesday night, but in the end I do look for the Carolina Hurricanes to pick up the victory at home over the Edmonton Oilers.

SportsTips’ NHL Pick:

Carolina Hurricanes (-145)

Philadelphia Flyers @ New York Islanders – 7:30PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Philadelphia Flyers will be looking to grab a solid victory here against the New York Islanders on Wednesday night on the road in Long Island. It has been a pretty pretty average start of the season for the Philadelphia Flyers and they will be looking for a massive momentum boosting victory early on in the year here on Wednesday night in this road matchup. They come into this game with double digit victories through their first 18 games of the year and they will be looking for their 11th victory of the season here on Wednesday night on the road against the New York Islanders. They are currently ranked in second place of their division, and they will be looking to gain ground on the team and first were they quality victory here on Wednesday night against the New York Islanders.

The New York Islanders come into this game looking to pick up a victory at home over the Philadelphia Flyers. They are having a rough start to the season as they come into this game below 500 with 11 losses on the season but five of those losses have come in overtime, which has earned them five much needed points throughout the early part of the year. They will be looking to grab a solid victory in this game on Wednesday night to get the train back on the tracks and rolling in the right direction throughout the rest of November, and the early part of December. New York broke a lengthy losing streak with an overtime victory in their previous game against the Calgary Flames and they will be looking for a second consecutive victory here on Wednesday night at home against Philadelphia. However, the Philadelphia Flyers have all the momentum coming into this one and I look for them to further extend their winning streak with a victory here on Wednesday night.

SportsTips’ NHL Pick:

Philadelphia Flyers (+125)

Calgary Flames @ Nashville Predators – 9PM ET

Tony Battalio

It has been a rough start to the season for the Calgary Flames, and they will be looking to get things headed in the right direction with a quality victory here on Wednesday night against the Nashville Predators. Calgary has been a contender over the last several years, but they got off on the wrong foot to begin this season, and they find themselves well under .500 coming into the end of the month of November. They will need to hit their stride rather quickly, if they want to remain competitive throughout the remainder of the first half of the regular season. Calgary comes into this game as losers of 11 out of their first 18 on the regular season and they will be searching for their eighth victory of the year here on Wednesday night south of the border against the Nashville Predators. They have built up a little bit of momentum as of late as they have won three out of their last four games on the year.

Nashville comes into this game looking to pick up a victory at home against Calgary here on Wednesday night as they look to get their season turned around after a rough start to the season. Nashville is a team that was expected to be a contender within the division this year but so far that has not been the case throughout the first month of the season. They will be looking to get things back on track with a quality performance here in this one against Calgary on Wednesday as they look to get the train rolling in the right direction to finish off the month of November. Nashville comes into this game three games under .500 through their first 17 games of the regular season. They will be looking to pick up their eighth victory of the year here on Wednesday night. I expect to be a close competitive game, but in the end I do look for the Calgary Flames to pull out the victory over Nashville on the road.

SportsTips’ NHL Pick:

Calgary Flames (-110)

Vegas Golden Knights @ Dallas Stars – 9:30PM ET

Tony Battalio

The defending Stanley Cup champions are off to a fantastic start this season, and they have experienced minimal championship hangover throughout the first month of the year. They will be looking to keep their hot start of the season rolling here on Wednesday night on the road in Dallas in the solid Western Conference matchup. As long as Vegas remains healthy and consistent throughout the regular season, they will arguably be the favorites going back into the postseason as they look to defend their Stanley Cup title from last year. They come into this game with thirteen victories in their first nineteen games of the regular season. They will be looking to keep their hot start to the season going with their 14th victory here on Wednesday night on the road against a very solid Dallas team in a very tough place to play.

The Dallas Stars come into this game looking to grab a huge victory at home over the defending Stanley Cup champions here on Wednesday night. Dallas is off to a quality start this year and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling in this game on Wednesday night as they look for an early season statement victory over the Vegas Golden Knights. Dallas has picked up 12 victories through their first seventeen games of the regular season and they will be looking to grab their 13th victory of the year in this heavyweight matchup of two contending Western Conference teams here on Wednesday night. I expect this to be a solid back-and-forth contest between these two teams here on Wednesday night in Dallas but in the end I do look for the Vegas Golden Knights to pick up the victory over the Dallas Stars.

SportsTips’ NHL Pick:

Vegas Golden Knights (+110)

Vancouver Canucks @ Colorado Avalanche – 10PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Vancouver Canucks are off to a successful start this season and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Wednesday night south of the border against Colorado. Vancouver has quickly established themselves as a potential favorite within the Western Conference this season. They will be looking to further that narrative with a huge victory early on in the year here on Wednesday night on the road. The Vancouver Canucks come into this game looking to grab their fourteenth victory of the season here on Wednesday night. They currently sit in second place of their division, and they will be looking to gain ground on the first place team in the division with a quality victory here on Wednesday night in one of the toughest venues in the league. They recently snapped a two game losing streak with a victory over San Jose in their previous game and they will be looking for a second consecutive victory here on Wednesday night.

Colorado comes into this game looking to get a victory at home over a top team in the Western Conference. They are off to a pretty fantastic start this season, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling in this game on Wednesday night at home against the Vancouver Canucks. Colorado who comes into this game five games above the 500 mark through their first 17 games of the season and they will be looking for a solid victory here on Wednesday night at home. They will be looking to bounce back from their loss to the Nashville Predators and their previous game as they look to get right back into the win column and back on track heading into the end of November. They need to clean up their play on the defensive end of the eyes going against a team like Vancouver who averages four goals a game because Colorado gives up around three goals a game so far this season. I expect this one to go down to the wire, and I look for it to go over the goals on Wednesday night.

SportsTips’ NHL Pick:

Over 6.5 Goals (-130)
