Florida Panthers @ Toronto Maple Leafs – 7PM ET

Tony Battalio

It has been a solid start to the season for the Florida Panthers and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling north of the border in Toronto here on Tuesday night. Florida has been one of the top contenders to win the Eastern Conference over the last several seasons, but they have yet to accomplish their ultimate goal of winning the east and advancing to the Stanley Cup finals. They will be looking to finally reach their goal and it starts with them being consistent and healthy throughout the regular season and as of right now they have accomplished both of those things throughout the month of November. They will be looking to maintain their solid start to the regular season with a quality victory over another contending team within the conference when they play the Toronto Maple Leafs here on Tuesday night. This will be the second game of a back-to-back for Florida and they will be looking to grab their second consecutive victory after shutting out Ottawa on Monday night.

The Toronto Maple Leafs had a quality start of the season, but things have been derailed a bit throughout the last couple of weeks. They will be looking to get things back on track as they look to remain competitive in a very crowded Eastern Conference heading into the month of December. Toronto comes into this game hovering above .500 through their first 19 games of the season and they will be looking to pick up their 11th victory of the year here on Tuesday night at home against the Florida Panthers. Toronto has had problems on the defense end of the ice as they are giving up well over three goals per game and that is not sustainable for success in this league throughout the season. Both teams come into this game on a two game losing streak, and both of them will be looking to get back into the win column with quality performances here on Tuesday night. In the end, I do look for the Toronto Maple Leafs to pick up the victory at home over Florida here on Tuesday night.

SportsTips’ NHL Pick:

Toronto Maple Leafs (-150)

New York Islanders @ New Jersey Devils – 7PM ET

Tony Battalio

The New York Islanders are having a rather rough start to the regular season as they come into this game four games below .500 through their first 20 games of the year. The one positive you could take away from New York is the fact that they have been racking up several overtime victories, and those extra points will go a long way at the end of the regular season when they are fighting for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. They come into this game with eight victories to their name throughout their first 20 games of the regular season and they will be looking to grab their ninth victory of the season here on Tuesday night on the road in New Jersey against the Devils. The New York Islanders are giving up around three goals per game throughout their first 20 games of the year and that is not sustainable for success and that is something they will need to clean up rather quickly if they want to remain competitive throughout the season. They come into this game, looking to break a one game losing streak after dropping their previous contest as well.

The New Jersey Devils had a solid start to the season as Jack Hughes continued to register points throughout the early part of the year. However, the train kind of came off the tracks when he went down with an injury a couple weeks ago, and they have yet to fully recover from him missing time. They will look to get things going in the right direction with a quality performance as they look to break the double digit win barrier and get back to .500 with their 10th victory of the season here on Tuesday night at home against the New York Islanders. However, their nearly four goals allowed per game average will need to change and decrease throughout the year if they want to string victories together, and remain competitive. They do come into this game with a little bit of momentum after hanging seven on the Buffalo Sabres in their previous contest, and now they will be looking for their second consecutive victory. That is exactly what I expect as I look for the New Jersey Devils to grab the win over the New York Islanders here at home on Tuesday night.

NJ Devils (-175)

Dallas Stars @ Winnipeg Jets – 8PM ET

Tony Battalio

It has been a quality start to the regular season for the Dallas Stars and they will be looking to maintain that start in this huge showdown with the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday night north of the border in Winnipeg. Dallas comes into this game as one of the potential favorites to compete for a playoff spot in the Western Conference with the way they have played throughout the early part of the year. They will be looking to maintain that momentum with a quality victory on the road against the Winnipeg Jets as this is likely going to be one of the best games of the Tuesday slate between two of the top teams in the league at the moment. Dallas comes into this game with 12 victories through their first 19 games of the season and they will be looking to grab their 13th victory of the year here on Tuesday night on the road against the Winnipeg Jets. They have been slumping a bit as they have lost two in a row and two out of their last three and they will be looking to get back into the win column with a solid performance here in this one.

The Winnipeg Jets are off to a quality start to the season, and they find themselves right behind the Dallas Stars in the Central division standings. They will be looking to grab a victory at home over the Dallas Stars and jump them in the standings for the time being as they look to continue their quality start to the year. Winnipeg looks like the best Canadian team in the league throughout the early part of the season, and they will be looking to maintain that momentum with another solid performance here in this one at home against Dallas. Winnipeg has been solid on both ends of the ice throughout the year, but they could work to clean up their defense and lower their goals allowed average of 2.9 heading into this game on Tuesday night. They will be looking to bounce back from a loss and their previous game and grab their first one over Dallas after losing to Dallas at home earlier this season. That is exactly what I expect as I look for Winnipeg to bounce back and grab the victory in this game on Tuesday night.

SportsTips’ NHL Pick:

Winnipeg Jets (-105)

Seattle Kraken @ Chicago Blackhawks – 8:30PM ET

Tony Battalio

The newest team in the NHL enjoyed a successful season last year as they made their first playoff appearance in franchise history. They seem to have some type of playoff hangover coming into this season as they are off to a rather slow start to the year and they will be looking to get things going in the right direction with a solid performance in Chicago. Seattle comes into this game six games below .500 through their first 20 games of the season and they will be looking for their ninth victory of the year here on Tuesday night on the road against the Chicago Blackhawks. Injuries and bad play from the goaltenders have caught up to this team throughout the early part of the season as they give up nearly four goals per game and that is something that will have to change if they want to find success for the second year in a row. They come into this game looking to bounce back after being blown out by the Vancouver Canucks in their previous contest by a score of 5 to 1.

It has been an awful start to the regular season for the Chicago Blackhawks but the one bright spot is that Connor Bedard looks to be the truth after they drafted a number one overall in this year’s draft. He was the surefire number one overall prospect and Chicago got lucky and won the lottery and now they have found the future of their franchise. He will be looking to carry them to a victory here on Tuesday night at home against the Seattle Kraken, as Chicago looks to get things going in the right direction throughout the early part of the regular season. He currently leads the team in goals and points, and he will be looking to put plenty of goals on the board against a lousy defending team like the Seattle Kraken. Chicago comes into this game with only six victories through their first 19 games of the year and they will be looking for their seventh with a quality game here on Tuesday. That is exactly what I expect out of the Blackhawks as I look for them to pick up the win in this one against the Seattle Kraken.

SportsTips’ NHL Pick:

Chicago Blackhawks (+145)

Anaheim Ducks @ Vancouver Canucks – 10PM ET

Tony Battalio

It has been a respectable start to the regular season for Anaheim, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling with another solid performance here on Tuesday night on the road north of the border in Vancouver. After several years rebuilding the roster, Anaheim has started to show progress in their rebuilding process. That is a good sign for the team and they will be looking to grab an early season statement victory here in this one. They come into this game hovering below .500 through their first 21 games of the regular season. Now they will be looking to grab their 10th victory of the season here in this one on Tuesday night on the road against a red hot Vancouver Canucks team. They are currently on a lengthy losing streak and that is something they will need to snap in this game if they want to get things going in the right direction heading into the month of December. As they look to remain competitive and break the six game losing streak here in this one on Tuesday night on the road.

The Vancouver Canucks had a lengthy rebuilding process as well, and it is finally paying off for Vancouver throughout the early part of this regular season. They have clearly looked like one of the best teams in the league throughout the early part of the year, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Tuesday night at home as they welcome in Anaheim. The Vancouver Canucks come into this game with 14 victories, through their first 22 games of the regular season and they will be looking to get their 15 victory of the season here in this one at home, where they’ve been very tough to beat throughout the early part of the year. They will also be looking to bounce back after dropping their previous game to the San Jose Sharks as they look to get right back into the win column with a solid performance here on Tuesday night against Anaheim. That is exactly what I expect as I look for the Vancouver Canucks to bounce back and pick up the victory over Anaheim here on Tuesday night at home.

SportsTips’ NHL Pick:

Vancouver Canucks -1.5 (-105)
