San Jose Sharks @ Boston Bruins – 7PM ET

Tony Battalio

The San Jose Sharks have been the worst team in the league throughout the early part of the regular season and at this point in the year, it doesn’t seem like that is going to change anytime quickly. They will look to go on the road and pick up a victory over a struggling Boston Bruins team at TD Garden here on Thursday night as they look to get some momentum rolling in the right direction. Stringing together victories has been an issue for the San Jose Sharks throughout the early part of the year as they come into this game with five wins through their first 22 games of the regular season. However, they do have a little bit of momentum coming into this one after picking up back-to-back victories, and their previous two games, and they will be looking to string a third consecutive victory together with another quality performance against Boston. The last two road games have not gone too well for the team as they have been out scored by a total of ten goals to two against the Seattle Kraken and Vancouver Canucks.

The Boston Bruins got off to an insane start to the regular season, but they have been struggling as of late and they will be looking to get things back together with a quality performance here on Thursday night at home. This game against the San Jose Sharks as an opportunity for Boston to have a get right game against one of the worst teams in the league. As they look to get things back on track and the momentum rolling in the right direction once again. They have the benefit of playing this game at home as well, and they will be looking to defend their whole ice in front of their home fans here on Thursday night at TD Garden against the San Jose Sharks. Despite finally picking up some losses over the last few games, Boston is still off to a fantastic start to the regular season as they come into this game with 14 victories in their first 21 games of the season. I expect them to get right back into the column with a quality performance here on Thursday night and not only do I look for them to pick up the victory, but I look for them to cover the spread as well.

SportsTips’ NHL Pick:

Boston Bruins -2.5 (+115)

Edmonton Oilers @ Winnipeg Jets – 8PM ET

Tony Battalio

It has been a slow start to the regular season for the Edmonton Oilers and they will be looking to get things going in the right direction with a victory on the road against Winnipeg here on Thursday. Edmonton came into this season with very high expectations of being a Stanley Cup contender but after Connor McDavid was injured early on in the year things got off track a little bit for the Oilers. Now they are slowly looking to make their way back towards 500 heading into the month of December and a victory here in this game on the road against Winnipeg would be a huge momentum boost for them. The Oilers come into this game as losers of 13 out of their first 21 games on the season and they will be looking for their ninth victory of the year here on Thursday night on the road in Winnipeg. Despite having a losing record, Edmonton does have plenty of momentum coming into this game as they are currently on a three game winning streak, and they will be looking for a fourth consecutive victory here on Thursday night.

The Winnipeg Jets come into this game after a successful start to the regular season, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Thursday night at home against Edmonton. Winnipeg comes into this game with 12 victories through their first 21 games of the regular season and they will be looking for their 13th one of the year here and this one at home. They will also be looking to snap a two game losing streak after losing back-to-back games to the Dallas Stars and Nashville Predators in their previous two contests. The last time these two teams met in Edmonton was earlier on this season, it was the Winnipeg Jets that picked up a overtime victory over the Edmonton Oilers and they will be looking to replicate that performance here on Thursday night. However, it is Edmonton that comes into this game with all the momentum, and I think they will leave with the victory, despite being on the road in Winnipeg.

SportsTips’ NHL Pick:

Edmonton Oilers (-115)

Dallas Stars @ Calgary Flames – 9PM ET

Tony Battalio

It has been a quality start to the regular season for the Dallas Stars, and they will be looking to maintain that start with another solid performance here on Thursday night north of the border in Calgary. Dallas has been a playoff team over the last several seasons, but they have yet to reach their ultimate goal of winning a Stanley Cup, and as long as they remain healthy and consistent throughout the season, they should be one of the favored contenders heading into the playoffs. The Dallas Stars come into this game with 13 victories through their first 20 games of the season and they will be looking for their 14th win of the year here on Thursday night on the road against the Calgary Flames. The Dallas Stars Canadian road trip got off to the right start after picking up a shutout victory over the Winnipeg Jets and their previous game and they will be looking for a second consecutive victory against the team here on Thursday in Calgary as well.

The Calgary Flames will be looking to get things on track and grabbing a huge momentum boosting victory over Dallas here on Thursday night at home would be a massive step in the right direction. Throughout the last couple of seasons, this Calgary team has been a contender for the Stanley Cup title, but they find themselves a less than impressive start to the regular season. They will desperately be looking for a victory in this game over Dallas as they look to get things rolling in the right direction throughout the month of December and get back on track heading into 2024. Calgary comes into this game with 13 losses through their first 22 games of the regular season and they will be looking for their 10th victory of the year here on Thursday night at home against Dallas. If they want to find long-term success this season, they need to clean up their play on the defensive end of the ice as they are giving up around three goals per game throughout the early part of the year. They do have a little bit of momentum coming into this game after picking up an overtime win over Vegas. Unfortunately, I look for Calgary to drop this game against Dallas at home as I look for the Stars to pick up the win on the road.

SportsTips’ NHL Pick:

Dallas Stars (-135)

Colorado Avalanche @ Arizona Coyotes – 9PM ET

Tony Battalio

Colorado is off to a quality start to the season and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling when they hit the road to the desert to play Arizona here on Thursday night. Colorado comes into this game with 15 victories to their name through their first 21 games of the season and they will be looking for their 16th victory of the season here on Thursday night against the Arizona Coyotes. Colorado will also be looking to extend their lead within the division as they face a team that is currently in sixth place of the Central division here on Thursday night. They have plenty of momentum coming into this game as well as they have picked up four consecutive victories prior to this game against Arizona on Thursday night on the road. This will be the first of four games between these two teams. This season in Colorado. Will be looking to get it off on a solid note with a victory here on Thursday night.

Arizona is having a decent start to the regular season and then they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling near on Thursday night at home against the Colorado Avalanche. Arizona is currently one game below .500 through their first 21 games of the regular season which is a major improvement considering this has been one of the worst teams in the league over the last several seasons. They will be looking to get back to .500 with a solid performance here on Thursday night at home against Colorado as they look to pull off a huge momentum boosting victory in this one to wrap up the month of November. Arizona has a little bit of momentum coming into this game after picking up back-to-back victories at home, and they will be looking for a third consecutive victory here on Thursday night. Unfortunately for Arizona I don’t see that happening as I look for Colorado to pick up the victory on the road.

SportsTips’ NHL Pick:

Colorado Avalanche (-190)

Vegas Golden Knights @ Vancouver Canucks – 10PM ET

Tony Battalio

Vegas has not been experiencing any type of championship hangover throughout the early part of the year and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here in this game on Thursday night in Vancouver. Vegas has been one of the best teams in the league throughout the early part of the regular season, and they will be looking to further prove that narrative to be true with their quality performance here on Thursday night and one of the toughest venues in the league to play at throughout the early part of the season. As long as they were made healthy and consistent throughout the regular season, they have a legitimate opportunity to repeat as Stanley Cup champions as well. Vegas comes into this game with 14 victories through their first 23 games of the regular season and they will be looking for their 15th one of the year here on Thursday night on the road against the Vancouver Canucks.

The Vancouver Canucks are off to a fantastic start to the regular season, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling with a victory over the defending Stanley Cup champions here on Thursday night at home. Vancouver comes into this game with 15 victories through their first 23 games of the season and they will be looking for their 16th win of the year against Vegas here on Thursday night as they look to gain some ground on the first place team in the division. A victory in this game for Vancouver would actually put them in first place of the Pacific division, heading into the month of December and would put them in a good position. Heading into the final month of the calendar year as well. Vancouver has a little bit of momentum coming into this one after picking up a victory over Anaheim in their previous game. They will be looking for their second consecutive victory here on Thursday night against the Golden Knights. I expect this to be a competitive game here on Thursday, but in the end I do look for Vancouver to bring home the win.

SportsTips’ NHL Pick:

Vancouver Canucks (-125)
