Tony Battalio

The Metropolitan Division thought they picked up an easy win over the Pacific Division in the first semifinal game of National Hockey League All-Star weekend. They got on the board right out of the gate with a goal from the Washington Capitals, Tom Wilson. After the end of the first period the Metropolitan held what felt like a comfortable 3-1 lead over the Pacific division. However the Pacific would strike quickly to bring it to 3-2 on the scoreboard in the second ten minute period. Before tying it up with only five minutes to go. In the end it was the Metropolitan who pulled away for the win. They will be a tough team to be no matter who they line up against.

The Central Division led 3-2 at the halfway mark of the game, this one was a shootout on both sides and back and forth the entire way. This game was destined to be the best one of the evening and it delivered as expected. This one should have likely been the finals, regardless of how the semi finals draw worked out. DeBrincat, Matthews, Huberdeau, and Bergeron all got on the board as expected as the Atlantic tied it at three earlier on in the second part of the game. It was the Central division that came out on top in the end and that is also who I have winning the entire thing
