The Toronto Maple Leafs come into this game on Sunday morning looking to grab a quality victory against Minnesota. Toronto had a hot start to the season but injuries and other issues have caught up to them throughout the middle part of November and they now find themselves hovering towards .500 coming into this game. They will be looking to grab a victory and get themselves going in the right direction with a solid performance here on Sunday morning against a decent Minnesota team. The Maple Leafs come into this game two games above 500 through their first sixteen games of the regular season and they will be looking to break the double digit win barrier with a win here on Sunday. They have some momentum built up coming into this one as they are currently on a three game-winning streak, and they have won four out of their last five as well. They will be looking to maintain that pace with a fourth consecutive win here on Sunday.

Minnesota comes into this game looking to derail the momentum of the Toronto Maple Leafs here on Sunday morning and get themselves a quality victory in the process. For the last several years, Minnesota has been a solid contender within the Central division, and they will be looking to maintain that narrative with some huge victories throughout the early part of the year and it starts with getting a win over Toronto here in this one. However, it’s been a slow start to the season for Minnesota as they come into this game six games under 500 through their first sixteen games of the regular season and they will be looking for a sixth victory here on Sunday morning against the Maple Leafs to turn things around. This will be the second game between these two teams this season and last time Toronto put up seven goals on Minnesota. I expect a similar result here in the second game between these two teams as they look for the Maple Leafs to come out of this one with a quality victory on Sunday morning. 

Columbus Blue Jackets @ Philadelphia Flyers – 5:30PM ET

The Columbus Blue Jackets came into this season with high expectations, but they have not lived up to those expectations throughout the early part of the year. They have looked rough throughout the early part of the regular season. They will be looking to get things turned around where they quality performance on the road here on Sunday afternoon against Philadelphia. Columbus comes into this game as losers of thirteen out of their first seventeen games of the regular season and they will be searching for their fifth victory of the season with a quality performance here on Sunday afternoon against a tough Philadelphia Flyers team. This will be the second game of a back-to-back for Columbus after facing Washington on Saturday night, and they will be looking to wrap up this back to back on a positive note with a much-needed victory here on Sunday.

The Philadelphia Flyers will be looking for a quality victory here on Sunday afternoon against the Columbus Blue Jackets at home. This will be the second game of a back-to-back for Philadelphia as well and they come into this game with plenty of momentum after winning on Saturday. They picked up a solid overtime victory against the defending Stanley Cup champions, and they will be looking to make it two victories in two days with another quality performance against the Columbus Blue Jackets here on Sunday at home. Considering they were one of the worst teams in the league last season, Philadelphia is off to a respectable start this year as they come into this game above 500 through their first 17 games of the regular season. They will be looking to break the double digit wind barrier with a victory here on Sunday. That is exactly what I expect as I look for the Philadelphia Flyers to grab the victory over Columbus here on Sunday afternoon at home.

Vegas Golden Knights @ Pittsburgh Penguins – 6PM ET

The defending Stanley Cup champions will be looking to bounce back after they lost a game in overtime on Saturday night in Philadelphia. They will be looking to travel across the state of Pennsylvania and pick up a victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins here on Sunday night on the road as they look to get right back into the win column this season. They are off to an incredible start this season, as they have not experienced any type of championship hangover throughout the early part of the year, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling with a bounce back victory against Pittsburgh. Vegas comes into this game with double digit victories on the season through their first eighteen games of the year and they will be looking for their fourteenth victory of the season here on Sunday night against Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh comes into this game enjoying somewhat of a respectable start to the regular season, and they will be looking for a massive momentum boosting victory here on Sunday night at home. They are hovering above .500 coming into this game and they will be looking to put some distance between the win and the lost column with another victory over one of the top teams in the league here in this one. This will be the second game of a back-to-back for Pittsburgh as well, as they were one of several teams in action on Saturday, and they will be looking to wrap up this back to back on a positive note with a victory. After facing off with the Carolina hurricanes on Saturday, they get another immediate test in the form of the defending Stanley Cup champions, and they will be looking to pass the test here on Sunday with a fantastic résumé building victory in the early part of the year. Unfortunately for Pittsburgh I don’t see that happening as I look for Vegas to take the win in this one on the road.

Buffalo Sabres @ Chicago Blackhawks – 7PM ET

The Buffalo Sabres are off to a somewhat quality start to the regular season, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Sunday night on the road in the Windy City. Buffalo has hit a bit of a wall in terms of their momentum, and they will be looking to get things back on track with a much-needed victory here in this one against Chicago. The Sabres come into this game with double digit losses through their first 17 games of the season and they will be searching for their eighth victory of the year here in this one on Sunday night in Chicago. They look to get them momentum rolling in the right direction once again as they look for a quality victory away from home. They come into this game as losers of three out of their last four games on the year, and they have lost three in a row as well, and they will be looking to snap that streak with a victory here on Sunday against the Chicago Blackhawks.

The Chicago Blackhawks are off to a less than impressive start to the season even after acquiring the number one overall pick in last year’s NHL draft. So far that number one overall pick has made somewhat of a difference, but it hasn’t been enough to shift the momentum of the Chicago Blackhawks franchise early on in the regular season. They will be looking for a victory here on Sunday night at home against the Buffalo Sabres as they look to get the momentum rolling in the right direction early on in the year throughout the month of November. The Chicago Blackhawks return home after losing to the Nashville Predators on Saturday afternoon and they will be looking to get back into the win column and wrap up this back to back on a positive note here on Sunday night. Unfortunately for Chicago I don’t see that happening as I look for Buffalo to grab the win in this game on Sunday.

St.Louis Blues @ Anaheim Ducks – 8PM ET

The St. Louis Blues come into this game looking to get a solid victory on the road in Anaheim here on Sunday night. It has been a slow start to the season for St. Louis and they will be looking to get things rolling in the right direction with a quality victory in this game. They are hovering around the .500 mark through their first sixteen games of the regular season and they will be looking to wrap up this back to back with a positive result here on Sunday in Anaheim. After facing off with the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday night on the road in Los Angeles, they come into this game in Anaheim playing in another tough venue for the second consecutive night in a row and they will be looking to conquer that test and pick up a much-needed victory here in this one. They will be looking to also wrap up this road trip on a hot note after getting a rough start to it in San Jose a couple nights ago.

The Anaheim Ducks come into this game looking to pick up a solid victory at home against the St. Louis Blues here on Sunday night to wrap up the weekend. It has been a somewhat respectable start to the season for the Anaheim Ducks as they come into this game above 500 through their first seventeen games of the season. Now they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling with another quality performance here on Sunday night at home against a decent St. Louis team. This is an Anaheim team that has been one of the worst teams in the league for the last couple seasons and now they’re rebuilding process is starting to show signs of serious progress throughout the first several weeks of this regular season. They will have the rest advantage in this one after not being in action on Saturday night, and I expect them to use that to their advantage and pick up a much-needed victory here on Sunday.
