New Jersey Devils @ Edmonton Oilers – 4PM ET

New Jersey comes into this game with plenty of momentum as they look to grab a victory in the second game of this back-to-back here on Sunday afternoon north of the border in Edmonton. They are coming off of a victory over the Calgary Flames in the opening game of their back to back on Saturday night, and they will look to wrap up this back to back on a positive note with a second consecutive win here on Sunday. They have been riding a solid winning streak coming into this game against the Edmonton Oilers and they will look to keep the momentum rolling with another quality game here in this one on Sunday afternoon as they look to take down Connor McDavid, and the Edmonton Oilers at home. New Jersey also comes into this game on a three game winning streak and as winners of four out of their last five on the year. 

Edmonton had a rough start to the season, which caught a lot of people by surprise, as they were expected to be one of the top teams in the league this season. However, an early season injury to Connor McDavid put them behind the eight ball to start the season and now they are starting to get back towards .500 throughout the last month of the year. They will be looking to grab a solid win here at home against the streaking New Jersey Devils team as they look to pick up a victory to close out the weekend and the second game of this back-to-back here on Sunday afternoon. Edmonton comes into this game two games below .500 with eleven victories through their first 24 games of the regular season. They currently find themselves on a lengthy winning streak, and I look for that to continue here in this game on Sunday as I look for them to pick up the win over New Jersey in a close and competitive game. 

Washington Capitals @ Chicago Blackhawks – 7PM ET

Washington comes into this game after blowing out the New York Rangers in the opening game of their back-to-back on Saturday night. Now they will look for a second consecutive win during this back to back with another quality performance here on Sunday night on the road against the Chicago Blackhawks. Washington comes into this game hovering around .500 as they have picked up 13 victories in their first 24 games of the regular season. They will be looking for victory number 14 here on Sunday night on the road in the Windy City as they look to take down the Blackhawks for their second victory in as many days. If they want to maintain any type of long-term success this season, they need to improve their goals scoring at the offensive end of the ice as they are averaging around two goals per game, which is not sustainable for success this year.

It’s been a very rough start to the regular season for the Chicago Blackhawks and they will look to get things going in the right direction with a victory here on Sunday night at home against Washington. Connor Bedard has helped Chicago pick up some solid victories along the way throughout the early part of the regular season but he needs plenty of help around him if he wants to turn this Blackhawks team into a legitimate contender anytime soon. Chicago comes into this game with 17 losses through their first 26 games of the regular season and they will be looking to break the double digit win mark with a victory here on Sunday against Washington. They have been playing less than impressive hockey on both ends of the ice and something will have to change rather quickly if they want to remain competitive throughout the regular season. However, I don’t look forward to get much better for them here in this game on Sunday as I look for Washington to pick up the victory on the road.

Winnipeg Jets @ Anaheim Ducks – 8PM ET

Winnipeg is off to a quality start this season and they will look to keep the momentum rolling here on Sunday night on the road against the Anaheim Ducks. They have been one of the better Canadian teams throughout the early part of the regular season, and they will be looking to further prove that narrative to be true with another fantastic performance here in this one to wrap up the weekend. Winnipeg comes into this game five games above .500 through their first 25 games of the regular season as they have picked up 15 wins in that span. They will be looking for their 16th victory of the season here on Sunday night on the road in Anaheim as they look for a solid victory on the road against a decent Western Conference team. They have plenty of momentum coming into this game as they currently find themselves on a three game winning streak heading into Sunday night.

The Anaheim Ducks are off to a less than respectable start to the regular season, and they will look to get the momentum rolling with a solid victory at home over the Winnipeg Jets. They come into this game with 16 losses through their first 26 games of the regular season and they will be looking for victory number eleven here on Sunday night at home against Winnipeg. They will be happy to be back at home after a quick two game road trip that saw them lose both games to the Edmonton Oilers and the Chicago Blackhawks. They have lost four out of their last five on the season as they are stuck in a rough position heading into this game on Sunday night. Unfortunately for Anaheim I don’t see it. Getting much better for them at the moment as I look for the Winnipeg Jets to move south of the border and pick up the victory here on Sunday night to wrap up the weekend on a positive note.

Minnesota Wild @ Seattle Kraken – 9PM ET

Minnesota is having a rough start to the season, which is unusual for them as they tend to be one of the most consistent contenders in the league. However, that has not been the case this season, and they will be looking to get things going in the right direction with a victory here on Sunday night on the road against the newest team in the NHL. As they look to pick up a much-needed victory in the Pacific Northwest here on Sunday night against the Seattle Kraken. Minnesota comes into this game as losers of 16 out of their first 25 games of the regular season and they will look to grab their 10th victory of the year here on Sunday night on the road in Seattle. As they look to break into the double digit column and build up as much momentum as possible heading into the second week of December. If they want to find any long-term success this season and break their current two game losing streak they will need to clean up their play on the defensive end of the ice as they are giving up about three goals per game.

The Seattle Kraken are coming off of a season where they made their first playoff appearance in franchise history, but so far the momentum from that season has not carried over into this one. They are off to a rather rough start to the regular season, and they will be looking to get things rolling in the right direction with a victory here on Sunday night at home against Minnesota. Seattle comes into this game as losers of 20 out of their first 28 games on the season and they will look for their ninth victory of the year here on Sunday night as they look to grab as much momentum as possible throughout the early part of December. Seattle is in desperate need of a victory to get things going in the right direction here on Sunday night and that is exactly what I expect out of them here in this one. As I look for them to pick up the victory against Minnesota here on Sunday night at home for their ninth victory of the regular season. 

San Jose Sharks @ Vegas Golden Knights – 10PM ET

The San Jose Sharks have been the worst team in the league this season, and they will be looking to get things going in the right direction with a huge victory over the defending Stanley Cup champions here on Sunday night in Vegas. They come to this game with 19 losses through their first 27 games of the regular season and they will be looking for their ninth victory of the year here on Sunday night on the road in the desert as they look to grab a huge momentum boost to wrap up the first week of December. They’ve been horrific on both ends of the ice throughout the early part of the regular season as they are only scoring around two goals per game while giving up around four goals per game, which is not sustainable for any type of success. That does not bode well for them coming into this game against one of the best offenses in the league throughout the early part of the year. 

The defending Stanley Cup champions are coming off of a solid victory on Saturday on the road in Dallas and they will look to wrap up this back to back with another positive result here on Sunday night at home. Vegas has not experienced any type of championship hangover throughout the early part of the regular season and they come into this game looking to further establish the fact that they are the best team in the league once again. They come into this game with 18 victories through their first 28 games of the season and they will be looking for their 19th one of the year here on Sunday night against the San Jose Sharks. Both teams come into this game on two game-winning streaks and Vegas has won four out of their last five. I expect them to grab a third consecutive victory and cover the spread here on Sunday night at home against the San Jose Sharks.
