Detroit Red Wings @ Ottawa Senators – 1PM ET

It has been a solid start to the season for the Detroit Red Wings, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here in this game when they go on the road north of the border to Canada to play the Ottawa Senators. Detroit has picked up three victories in their first four games of the season and they will be looking to continue finding early success here in this one with another solid win against a Senators team that has had a pretty equal start to the year. Detroit is currently on a three game-winning streak, and they will be looking to extend their winning streak to four with another victory here on Saturday afternoon against Ottawa. 

The Ottawa Senators are having a similar start to the season as they have picked up three victories in their first four games of the year. They will be looking to keep the momentum rolling with a victory here at home on Saturday afternoon against Detroit as they look to get off to their best start in ages with another win here this weekend. Ottawa also comes into this game on a three game winning streak after losing their season opener and winning three consecutive games to follow it up. I Expect them to grab a fourth consecutive victory here on Saturday afternoon against Detroit as I look for them to defend home ice and get themselves a much-needed win.

Toronto Maple Leafs @ Tampa Bay Lightning – 7PM ET

The Toronto Maple Leafs will be looking to pick up a crucial early-season victory against another contender in the Eastern Conference here on Saturday night on the road in Tampa Bay. Toronto is off to a somewhat respectable start this season, and Auston Matthews continues to find the back of the net early on in the year as well, which has helped lead them to some very solid victories throughout the first couple weeks of the regular season. Toronto comes into this game with a pair of victories through their first four games of the season and they will be looking to get their record above .500 as well as grab their third victory of the season here on Saturday night on the road.

The Tampa Bay Lightning will be looking to pick up a solid victory at home here on Saturday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs as they look to keep the momentum rolling early on in this regular season. Tampa Bay has been pretty even across-the-board through their first five games of the year as they have picked up a pair of victories and a pair of losses and regulation, as well as an overtime loss which has led to them getting five out of a possible ten points to open up the year. They will certainly have to defend home ice here in this one and clean up some of their mistakes if they want to grab their third victory of the season and that is exactly what I expect as I look for this game to go back-and-forth but in the end, I have the home team Lighting pulling out the victory over the Maple Leafs. 

Vancouver Canucks @ Florida Panthers – 7PM ET

The Vancouver Canucks will be looking to pick up a solid victory on the road against the Florida Panthers here on Saturday night as they look to get their third win of the season. They have been in a bit of a rebuilding process over the last several seasons, but they have shown plenty of progress over the last couple of years as well. This year is a potential chance for the Vancouver Canucks to compete for a Stanley Cup playoff spot if all the chips fall the way they need them throughout the regular season. It has been a decent start of the year for them. Thus far as they come into this game I’m having already picked up two victories through their first four games of the year and they will be looking to grab yet another victory here in this one.

The Florida Panthers will be looking to grab a quality victory at home as they look to shake off their slow start to the season and get the momentum rolling here on Saturday night against the Vancouver Canucks. Florida comes into this game with only a couple victories in their first four games of the season and for a team that has been a potential Stanley Cup favorite for the last several years, a slow start to the year does not look too hot for them. However, they are on a two game winning streak that they will be looking to extend after breaking out of their slump to open up the year and I expect them to do just that with a victory over the Vancouver Canucks here on Saturday night at home.

Carolina Hurricanes @ Colorado Avalanche – 9PM ET

The Carolina Hurricanes will be looking to pick up a solid victory here on Saturday night against the Colorado Avalanche as they look to keep the momentum rolling on their season as they continue their West Coast road trip. It has been above average starts of the season for Carolina as they have picked up six out of a possible 10 points through their first five games of the season and they will be looking to pick up their fourth victory of the season here on Saturday night on the road in Denver as they look to further establish themselves as a potential Stanley Cup contender throughout the early parts of the regular season. They will be looking to bounce back after losing to the Seattle Kraken in their previous game as they look to snap their quick one game-winning streak with a victory here in this one.

It has been a perfect start to the season for the Colorado Avalanche as they come into this game on Saturday night undefeated and they will be looking to remain undefeated with a quality victory over the Carolina Hurricanes. Colorado comes into this game with four consecutive victories to open up the year as they will be searching to compete for their second Stanley Cup trophy in the last three seasons, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling with another win here in this one on Saturday night against another Stanley Cup trophy contender early on in the season. That is exactly what I expect as I look for Colorado to pick up their fifth victory of the season here on Saturday night at home.

Boston Bruins @ Los Angeles Kings – 10:30PM ET

The Boston Bruins will be looking to pick up a solid victory on the road in Los Angeles here on Saturday night as they look to continue their solid start to the regular season. Boston comes into this game undefeated through their first three games of the regular season and they will be looking to pick up their fourth consecutive victory here in Los Angeles on Saturday night as they look to follow up on a year where they set the record for the most regular season wins in league history. Boston comes into this game averaging three goals a game through their first three games of the season and they will be looking to maintain that pace here in this one against Los Angeles on Saturday night.

The Los Angeles Kings will be looking to end the undefeated run of the Boston Bruins with a victory here at home on Saturday evening. It has been a somewhat average start to the season for the Los Angeles Kings as they have split their first four games but they did have the luxury of picking up an extra point with their overtime loss rather than a second loss in regulation. Los Angeles will be looking to defend home ice against one of the better teams in the league here on Saturday night as they look to pick up their third victory of the season in their first five games. They are currently on a two game-winning streak after grabbing back-to-back victories, on the road against Minnesota and Winnipeg, and they will be looking to extend that streak with a victory here in this one. Unfortunately for the Kings I don’t see that happening as I have the Boston Bruins picking up the win in this game on Saturday night in LA.
