Montreal Canadiens @ Boston Bruins – 7PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Montréal Canadiens come into this game looking for a massive momentum boosting victory on the road in Boston here on Saturday. It has been a somewhat slow start to the season for the Montréal Canadiens, and they will be looking to get things turned around throughout the remainder of November. Grabbing a victory on the road in this game at TD Garden on Saturday night against the best team in the league would be a solid way to do that. The Montréal Canadiens come into this game three games below the .500 mark through their first seventeen games of the regular season, and they will be looking to get things going with their eighth victory of the season here on Saturday night. They picked up a 3 to 2 victory in overtime the last time they faced the Boston Bruins in Montreal, and they will be looking to replicate that performance here on Saturday night. However, they will also be looking to snap a three game losing streak in the process as they do not come into this game with much momentum.

The Boston Bruins have been the best team in the league throughout the last two regular seasons, and they are coming off of a season where they set the record for the most victories in a single year. With the start, they are off to this season they have the potential to break their own record only a year later as long as they maintain this pace throughout the remainder of the regular season. They come into this game with double digit victories through their first fifteen games of the season. They will be looking for their thirteenth victory of the year here on Saturday night at home against the Montréal Canadiens. The last time these two teams met it was Montreal that got the better of Boston and overtime and Boston will be looking to return the favor this time around here at home. They come into this game on a one game-winning streak and as winners of three out of their last four and I look for them to grab a second consecutive victory here on Saturday against Montreal as well.

SportsTips’ NHL Pick:

Boston Bruins -1.5 (-110)

New York Rangers @ New Jersey Devils – 7PM ET

Tony Battalio

The New York Rangers are off to a decent start this season and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Saturday night on the road across the river in New Jersey. The New York Rangers come into this game with double digit victories through their first fourteen games of the season, and they will be looking to add to their win total with another quality performance here in this one. They are running away with the Metropolitan division at the moment, and they will be looking to further extend their lead with another victory here on Saturday night, on the road against the Devils. They come into this game on a three game winning streak and as winners of three out of their last four on the year, and they will be looking to further extend their winning streak with another quality game here on Saturday night. New York has been excellent on both ends of the ice so far this season and I expect that to continue in this game on Saturday against a struggling Devils team.

The New Jersey Devils have been struggling throughout the last week after getting a start to the season, and they will be looking to get things turned around once again, but they quality performance here on Saturday night at home. New Jersey has been hovering around the .500 mark through their first 15 games of the regular season and they will be looking to start stringing some victories together throughout the remainder of November to get back on track. Jack Hughes started off the season on a point scoring tear but ever since he went down with an injury that is when the troubles started for New Jersey. To make matters worse for the Devils, he will likely be out of this game as he is currently listed as day-to-day on the injury report. They will need to clean up their play on the defensive end of the ice against one of the highest scoring teams in the league so far this year, as they are giving up about three goals per game throughout the young season. Unfortunately for New Jersey I don’t see things getting better for them in this one as I look for the New York Rangers to grab the win on the road.

SportsTips’ NHL Pick:

NY Rangers (-110)

Colorado Avalanche @ Dallas Stars – 8PM ET

Tony Battalio

Colorado is off to a fantastic start this season and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling with another quality performance here on Saturday night against the Dallas Stars on the road in Dallas. They will be looking to establish themselves as a contender as they look to win their second Stanley Cup in the last three seasons. With the way they are playing now they are arguably one of the favorites to do exactly that as long as they remain healthy and consistent throughout the regular season. They have already broken the double digit win barrier through their first fifteen games of the season and they will be looking for their eleventh win of the year here on Saturday night on the road in one of the toughest environments in the league. A victory in this game for Colorado would also move them back into first place of the Central division, as they currently sit behind Dallas coming into this one. Colorado is currently on a two game winning streak and they will be looking for a third consecutive victory here on Saturday, Saturday night in Dallas.

The Dallas Stars are off to a quality start this season as well, and they will be looking to put some distance between themselves and Colorado within the division with a victory here on Saturday night at home. Dallas has already broken the double digit win barrier as well as they have also picked up eleven victories in their first fifteen games of the regular season. They will be looking for a quality victory at home over one of the top teams in the league here on Saturday night as they look to further establish themselves as a Stanley Cup contender in the Western Conference. They currently sit in the top spot in the division and a victory. Here in this one would go a long way in creating some breathing room between them and Colorado so they will be looking to play their best game of the season so far. This will be the second game of a homestand for Dallas and they are currently on a four game winning streak that they will be looking to extend with another quality victory here on Saturday. That is exactly what I expect as they come into this game with plenty of momentum, and I look for them to ride that momentum to a victory here on Saturday night.

SportsTips’ NHL Pick:

Dallas Stars (-130)

Seattle Kraken @ Vancouver Canucks – 10PM ET

Tony Battalio

The newest franchise in the National Hockey League is not having the greatest start to the regular season, only a year after making their first playoff appearance in franchise history. Not only did they accomplish that goal last season, but they also upset the defending Stanley Cup champions at the time, and they were hoping to ride that wave of momentum into this new season. However, so far that has not paid off for the Seattle Kraken, and they will be looking for a solid victory on the road north of the border in Vancouver to get things rolling throughout the month of November. Seattle comes into this game well under 500 as they are losers of 12 out of their first 18 games on the season. They will desperately need to build some momentum throughout the next few weeks if they want to remain competitive in the Western Conference this season. They were finally able to break a three game losing streak with a victory over the Islanders in a shootout in their previous game, and they will be looking for a second consecutive win here on Saturday night.

The Vancouver Canucks are off to an incredible start this season, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Saturday night at home against the Seattle Kraken. It has been a solid rebuilding process for Vancouver, and it is finally starting to pay off for the Canucks as they look like a legitimate contender throughout the early part of the regular season. Despite losing to the Calgary Flames in their previous game, they still have plenty of momentum as they come into this game as winners of 12 out of their first 17 games of the year. They will be looking for their 13th victory of the season here on Saturday night at home where they’ve been very tough to beat this year. The Vancouver Canucks have picked up six victories in seven home games this season and their one loss at home came in overtime. I expect them to grab their seventh home victory of the year here on Saturday night against the Seattle Kraken and I look for them to cover the puck line in the process as well.

SportsTips’ NHL Pick:

Vancouver Canucks -1.5 (+140)

St.Louis Blues @ Los Angeles Kings – 10:30PM ET

Tony Battalio

The St. Louis Blues coming into this game looking to get a quality victory on the road in Los Angeles here on Saturday night. It has been a roller coaster of a start to the regular season for St. Louis throughout their first handful of games and they will be looking to string some victories together and get them momentum rolling early on in the season. They come into this game hovering around the .500 mark through their first 15 games of the regular season and they will be looking for their ninth victory of the season here in Los Angeles on Saturday night. They are coming off of a blowout loss of the San Jose Sharks in their previous game that snapped a three game-winning streak and they will be looking to get right back into the win column with a quality performance here in this one against a tough Los Angeles team.

The Los Angeles Kings come into this game, looking to further build momentum after picking up a victory over the Florida Panthers at home on Thursday night. Will be looking for another victory at home here on Saturday night against the St. Louis Blues as they look to keep their solid start to the season alive, and they look to remain competitive in one of the toughest divisions in hockey this season. They will be looking to pick up their tenth victory of the season here on Saturday night at home as they come into this game, three games above .500 at the moment looking to further improve upon their record. The victory over Florida on Thursday night snap a two game losing streak for the Los Angeles Kings and they will be looking to extend their winning streak to two games with another quality performance here and this one on Saturday. That is exactly what I expect as I look for them to pick up the win in this game against the Blues.

SportsTips’ NHL Pick:

LA Kings (-200)
