Vancouver Canucks @ Toronto Maple Leafs – 7PM ET

After several years of rebuilding, the Vancouver Canucks are finally back in contention for a Stanley Cup playoff berth this season. They are off to an incredible start to the year as they have picked up ten victories through their first thirteen games of the season. They will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Saturday night when they head across the country to Toronto to play the Maple Leafs. Vancouver will be looking to keep their hot start going against a top team in the Eastern Conference, this season, as they look to further establish themselves as a contender in the Western Conference alongside the likes of Vegas and Colorado. Vancouver currently finds themselves on a five game-winning streak, and they will be looking for their sixth consecutive victory of the year on the road in Toronto on Saturday night. This will be their second game on the road after beating Ottawa in their previous contest.

The Toronto Maple Leafs had a solid start to the season going, but the train has derailed off of the tracks a little bit over the past week and a half or so. They will be looking to stop the momentum of the Vancouver Canucks and get things back on track themselves with a victory here on Saturday night at home against one of the hottest teams in the league throughout the early part of the season. This will be the second game of a back-to-back for Toronto at home after facing the Calgary Flames on Friday night and they will be looking to cap off this back to back with a victory over Vancouver here on Saturday night. They have been hovering around the .500 mark through their first 14 games of the season and they will be looking to get things going in the right direction by consistently stringing victories together throughout the next several weeks. Unfortunately for Toronto I don’t see this game going their way on Saturday night as I look for Vancouver to come into their building and pick up the victory.

Boston Bruins @ Montreal Canadiens – 7PM ET

The Boston Bruins are off to an incredible start this season, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Saturday night north of the border in Montreal. Last season they set an NHL record for most regular season victories, and as of right now they would be on pace to break the record they recently just set last season. Boston comes into this game with eleven victories through their first thirteen games of the season and they will be looking for their 12th victory of the year here on Saturday night on the road as they look to keep the momentum rolling with this hot start to the season. They are running away with the division at the moment and if they somehow maintain this pace, they would pretty much be on the doorstep of clinching the division by the time spring comes around. Boston comes into this game on a two game winning streak, and as winners of four out of their last five on the season, they will be looking for a third consecutive victory here in this one.

The Montréal Canadiens will be looking to derail the Boston Bruins here on Saturday night at home and what feels like an opportunity to grab an early season statement victory for Montreal. It has not been such a great start to the season for the Canadiens as they come into this game with a losing record through their first thirteen games of the season. They are currently hovering around the .500 mark and they will be looking to get the momentum rolling early on in the year with a crucial victory here in this one on Saturday night at home against the best team in the NHL this season. Montreal snapped a four game losing streak in their previous game with an overtime victory and they will be looking to grab their second consecutive victory with another win here on Saturday night. Unfortunately for them I don’t see that happening. As not only do I look for Boston to get the wind on the road but I look for them to cover the spread in the process.

Arizona Coyotes @ Nashville Predators – 8PM ET

It has been a pretty decent start of the season for the Arizona Coyotes considering the circumstances. They have been one of the worst teams in the league for the last several seasons so any sign of improvement would be a step in the right direction for this Arizona team early on in the regular season. They will be looking to pick up a solid victory on the road here on Saturday night in Nashville as they look to gain as much momentum as possible heading into the middle of the month of November. Arizona comes into this game hovering around the .500 mark through their first hovering games of the season and they will be looking to get their record back to even with a victory here on Saturday night on the road in Nashville. They will also be looking to snap a one game losing streak after losing to St. Louis in their previous contest on the road. 

The Nashville Predators are also experiencing a slow start to the season, and they will be looking to get things turned around with a victory here at home on Saturday night against the Arizona Coyotes. Nashville came in the season looking to be a contender for the Central division title and their slow start to the season has put them off course a little bit, but they will be looking to turn things around rather quickly. Nashville comes into this game as losers of eight out of their first thirteen games of the season and they will be looking for their sixth victory of the season here on Saturday night against a struggling Arizona team. The month of November has not been kind in Nashville as they have lost three out of their first four games in the month but I look for them to bounce back and grab a much-needed victory here on Saturday night at home over Arizona to get things going in the right direction.

St.Louis Blues @ Colorado Avalanche – 9PM ET

The St. Louis Blues come into this game looking to get an early season, momentum boosting victory on the road in Colorado against the Avalanche here on Saturday night. It has been a pretty average start to the season for the Blues as they come into this game with six victories through their first 12 games of the season and they will be looking to pick up their seventh victory of the season here, on the road in one of the toughest environments in the entire league. This will be their second game against each other this month and St. Louis has been heating up since their loss to Colorado to open up November as they have won three out of their last four and they will be looking to make it four out of five here in this one. They will also be looking to extend their current one game winning streak after picking up a victory over the Arizona Coyotes in their previous contest.

It has been a pretty solid start of the season for the Colorado Avalanche, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling with their second victory in the last two weeks against St. Louis here on Saturday night at home. These two teams met in the game of November, and it was Colorado who came away with the victory, and they will be looking to accomplish a similar result here in this one on Saturday night. Their previous game wasn’t even close as Colorado won by three goal margin of 4-1 and they will be looking to replicate that performance here in this one to keep their hot start to the season intact. Colorado comes into this game with eight victories through their first 12 games of the season and they will be looking for their ninth victory of the season here on Saturday night in front of their home fans. I expect Colorado to grab a victory in this game and cover the spread in the process against St. Louis at home on Saturday night.

Edmonton Oilers @ Seattle Kraken – 10PM ET

Edmonton comes into this game, looking to recover from their poor start to the season here on Saturday night on the road in the Pacific Northwest against Seattle. They came into the year with plenty of expectations, but they have looked absolutely lost throughout the early part of the regular season, and they will be looking to get back on track and start stringing some consistent victories together throughout the next several weeks and the remaining weeks of November as well. Edmonton comes into this game as losers of double digit games through their first 12 games of the season and they have a long way to go to get back towards the .500 mark and it starts with grabbing a victory over Seattle here on Saturday night on the road. Injuries to Connor McDavid has really hurt them throughout the early part of the season and once he gets back, they should improve in a major way. 

After coming off of their first playoff berth and a massive upset in their first round series against the, at the time defending Stanley Cup champions, Seattle was off to a pretty slow start this season. They will be looking to get things rolling in the right direction, and it starts with grabbing a victory over Edmonton here at home on Saturday night as they look to further add to the Oilers struggles throughout the early part of the regular season. Seattle comes into this game with a losing record through their first 14 games of the season, and they will be looking for their sixth victory of the season here on Saturday night in front of their home fans. They are coming off of a victory against Colorado and they will be looking for their second victory in a row here on Saturday night. That is exactly what I expect as I look for the Kraken to get their second consecutive victory and send the Oilers packing with another loss.
