Arizona is having a somewhat respectable start to the regular season when you consider that they’ve been one of the worst teams in the league for the last several years. They have shown plenty of progress throughout the early part of this regular season, and they will be looking to maintain that solid start to the season with a quality victory on the road in Boston here on Saturday afternoon. They come into this game one game above the .500 mark through their first 25 games of the regular season and they will look for their 14th victory of the year here on Saturday afternoon at TD Garden. They had their losing streak broken in their previous game with a blowout loss to the Philadelphia Flyers and they will look to get back into the win column with a solid performance here on Saturday afternoon against Boston, as they look to grab a victory in the first game of this road trip after a lengthy stay at home. 

Boston has been fantastic throughout the early part of the regular season and they will be looking to maintain their solid start of the year with another quality performance here on Saturday afternoon at home. Just last season they set a record for the most wins in a single regular season and with the way they started this year they have a chance to break their own record at the end of this season as well. They come into this game with 17 victories through their first 25 games of the regular season and they will look for their 18th one of the year here on Saturday afternoon. Boston will also be looking to bounce back after dropping their previous game to the Buffalo Sabres as they look to get right back into the win column with a quality performance here and this one. That is exactly what I expect out of the Bruins as I look for them to grab the victory in this game and cover the spread against the Arizona Coyotes at home.

Vegas Golden Knights @ Dallas Stars – 4PM ET

The defending Stanley Cup champions are having a fantastic season so far and they have not experienced any signs of having a championship hangover throughout the early part of the year. They look to keep the momentum rolling here on Saturday afternoon on the road in Dallas as they face a tough road test against a quality Dallas team. Vegas comes into this game with 17 victories through their first 27 games of the season and five of their 10 losses have come in overtime as well which has earned them a crucial five points throughout the early part of the year. Vegas comes into this game as the top team in the Western Conference throughout the early part of the year and they will be looking to further extend that lead with a victory over Dallas here on Saturday. They come into this game after putting up six goals on St. Louis, and they will be looking to replicate that performance here on Saturday against Dallas, as they look for their second consecutive win.

The Dallas Stars are off to a quality start to the regular season as they come into this game in second place of the Central division, and they are in a solid spot in the Western Conference as well. They will look to maintain that solid start to the regular season with a victory here on Saturday afternoon at home against the defending Stanley Cup champions. They come into this game with 15 victories through their first 25 games of the regular season and they will be looking for victory number 16 here on Saturday afternoon as they look to gain ground on the Colorado Avalanche within the division. They come into this game after ending a road trip with a victory in a shootout over the Washington Capitals and they will look for their second consecutive victory here on Saturday afternoon at home. Unfortunately for Dallas, I don’t see that happening as I look for Vegas to pick up the victory on the road here in this one on Saturday afternoon.

New Jersey Devils @ Calgary Flames – 4PM ET

New Jersey was off to a quality start to the season before Jack Hughes went down with an injury and it has put them behind the eight ball ever since. They will look to get things back on track with a victory here on Saturday afternoon north of the border in Calgary as they look for a victory over the Flames here in this room. Vegas comes into this game hovering above .500 as they have 13 victories through their first 24 games of the regular season. They will be looking for their 14th victory of the season here on Saturday afternoon on the road against Calgary as they look to get some momentum built up throughout the early part of December. New Jersey cannot afford to let losses pile up on their record, as they are playing in one of the most competitive divisions in the league, and they already find themselves in the bottom half of the Metropolitan division coming into this game. 

It has been a rough start to the season for Calgary as they have become used to being a contender over the last several years. They love to get things rolling in the right direction with a victory here on Saturday afternoon at home against New Jersey as they look for a momentum boost throughout the early part of December. Calgary comes into this game four games below the .500 mark as they have 15 losses through their first 26 games of the regular season and they will be looking looking for their 12th victory of the season here on Saturday afternoon at home. They come into this game with a little bit of momentum after picking up a victory over Carolina in their previous contest and now they will be looking for their second consecutive victory here on Saturday afternoon. However, I don’t see that happening as I look for New Jersey to come into Calgary and pick up the victory over the Flames here on Saturday.

Nashville Predators @ Toronto Maple Leafs – 7PM ET

Nashville has been building up momentum over the last couple of weeks and they will look to keep it rolling in this game north of the border against Toronto. Nashville comes into this game with 14 victories through their first 26 games of the season and they will look for their 15th victory here in this one on Saturday night in Toronto. They come into this game in the middle of the pack of the Central division, as they currently sit in fifth place, and they will look to make their way into a playoff spot with a quality performance here in this game on Saturday night. If they want to maintain long-term success, they need to clean up their play on the defensive end of the ice as they are giving up over three goals per game at the moment and that is not something that will lead to them grabbing many victories throughout the season. They come into this game with plenty of momentum, as they are currently on a three game-winning streak, and they will look for a fourth consecutive victory here in this one.

Toronto is having a solid start to the regular season and they will look to keep the momentum rolling here on Saturday night at home against Nashville. They come into this game with 13 wins through their first 23 games of the regular season and they will be looking for win number 14 here on Saturday night at home. This will be the second and final time these two teams meet during the regular season and the first time they met in Nashville. It was the Predators that got the win earlier this season as they picked up a victory in overtime. Now Toronto will be looking to return the favor here in this one on Saturday night back at home north of the border in Canada. Toronto has a little bit of momentum coming into this game after picking up a victory over the Ottawa Senators in their previous contest and I expect them to grab a second consecutive victory here on Saturday night at home. As I look for the Maple Leafs to pick up the win in this game against Nashville.

Carolina Hurricanes @ Vancouver Canucks – 10PM ET

Carolina is off to a solid start this season and they will look to get a huge victory on the road north of the border in Vancouver here on Saturday night. Carolina has been one of the most consistent contenders over the last several seasons, but they have yet to reach their ultimate goal of winning a Stanley Cup title. If they can remain healthy and consistent throughout the regular season they will have a legitimate shot to bring a Stanley Cup title out, and it will likely be the favorites, heading into the Stanley Cup playoffs if they can accomplish both of those things as well. Carolina comes into this game with 14 victories through their first 26 games of the season as they are currently two games above .500 coming into this one on Saturday night against the Vancouver Canucks. This would be an early season statement victory for Carolina and give them plenty of momentum throughout the middle of December if they can get a win over one of the top teams in the league early on in the regular season on the road in a hostile environment. 

Vancouver is off to a solid start to the regular season and they will look to keep the momentum rolling here on Saturday night at home against Carolina. It has been a long, lengthy rebuilding process for this Vancouver Canucks franchise, and it is finally paying off for them throughout the early part of the regular season. Now it’ll be interesting to see if they can maintain that consistency throughout the remainder of the regular season, but if they play the way they are playing now throughout the rest of the year they should be a legitimate contender, heading into the postseason. Vancouver comes into this game with 17 victories through their first 27 games of the regular season and they will look for their 18th one of the year here on Saturday night at home. That is exactly what I expect as I look for Vancouver to pick up the victory in this game at home against Carolina here on Saturday night in a close and competitive contest.
