Dallas Stars @ Florida Panthers – 7:00 PM ET

Dallas had their last four games postponed. That means they have not played since February 13 when they lost to Carolina in a shootout, 4-3. The Stars are 5-3-4 with a +6 goal differential. They have only played 12 games, the fewest in the Central Division.

Anton Khudobin is expected to be in net for Dallas. He has a 2.75 GAA and a .902 save percentage in seven appearances. Joe Pavelski leads the team in points with 17. The Stars have already proven they can have an extended break and come out firing on all cylinders.


Florida lost to Detroit on Saturday, 2-1. Sergei Bobrovsky played well between the pipes, stopping 25 of 27 shots, but he was simply outdueled. Florida is now 11-3-2. They are 5-2-1 at home this season. It will likely be Bobrovsky in net on Monday.

He has started eight games with a 3.1 a GAA and a .889 save percentage. Jonathan Huberdeau had his three-game point streak snapped. He leads the team with 22 points.

Tampa Bay Lightning @ Carolina Hurricanes – 7:00 PM ET

Tampa Bay lost Carolina on Saturday, 4-0. The Lightning are now 10-4-1 with a +18 goal differential. They are 4-3-1 on the road. Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 24 of 27 shots.

He has allowed eight goals in his last three starts. That has helped to raise his goals-against average above two for the first time (2.01). He has started 13 of the team’s 15 games. Brayden Point leads the team in points with 16.


Alex Nedeljkovic stopped all 24 shots he faced for Carolina in the victory over Tampa Bay. Sébastien Aho and Andrei Svechnikov both had a goal and an assist in the victory. Carolina moved to the top of the Central Division standings at 12-3-1.

They have a +19 goal differential, second best in the NHL. The Hurricanes are 6-0-1 at home. James Reimer (3.08, .896) will be back between the pipes. Aho and Svechnikov are now tied for the team lead in points with 16.

Buffalo Sabres @ New York Islanders – 7:00 PM ET

Buffalo defeated New Jersey on Saturday, 3-2. That moved the Sabres to 5-7-2 with a -8 goal differential, worst in the division. Sam Reinhart had two goals for Buffalo giving him five for the season, second most on the team.

Jack Eichel added an assist for his team-leading 13th point. Linus Ullmark stopped 25 of 27 shots in the victory. He will likely be between the pipes on Monday night as well. Ullmark has started nine games with a 2.61 GAA .909 save percentage.


The Islanders lost to Pittsburgh on Saturday, 3-2. That was their second straight loss to the Penguins. New York is now 8-6-3. They have been very good at home, posting a 4-0-1 record.

Semyon Varlamov did not play very well against Pittsburgh, stopping only 15 of 18 shots he faced. Semyon now has a 2.07 GAA and a .925 save percentage in 13 games. Jordan Eberle added his seventh goal of the season in the loss, tied for best on the team.

Calgary Flames @ Toronto Maple Leafs – 7:00 PM ET

Calgary was buried by Edmonton on Saturday, 7-1. That was the third straight loss for the Flames. Calgary is now 8-9-1 overall and are 4-5-1 on the road. Jacob Markstrom allowed five goals on 15 shots before being removed from the game.

He has started 15 of the team’s 18 games this season and may simply need a day or two off. Markstrom has a 2.87 GAA and a .909 save percentage.


Toronto blew past Montréal on Saturday, 5-3. That moved the Maple Leafs to 14-3-2, the best record in the NHL. They have a +21 goal differential, also tops in the league. Toronto is 8-2-1 at home this season. Frederik Andersen stopped 30 of 33 shots in the victory over the Canadiens.

Andersen has started 16 games with a 2.69 GAA and a .905 save percentage. Auston Matthews recorded four points in the game, including two goals. He has eight total points over the last two games and is currently on a 16-game point streak (26 points).

Los Angeles Kings @ St. Louis Blues – 8:00 PM ET

Los Angeles defeated Arizona on Saturday, 4-2 for their fourth straight victory. The Kings are now 7-6-3 with a +3 goal differential. Calvin Petersen was outstanding between the pipes, stopping 22 of 24 shots.

Anze Kopitar added two assists, giving him 17 assists and a team-leading 21 points. It will likely be the resurgent Jonathan Quick in goal on Monday. He has a 3.19 GAA and eight starts, but has allowed only two total goals in his last two outings.


St. Louis lost to San Jose on Saturday, 5-4. The Blues are 10-6-2, third in the West. They are only 4-4-2 at home this season. Jordan Binnington allowed five goals on 27 shots in the loss.

He has started 14 of the Blues’ 18 games and has a 2.53 GAA and a .913 save percentage. Brayden Schenn scored a goal and added an assist giving him 16 points, tied for third on the team. Jordan Kyrou had a goal and two assists, giving him 17 points, second most on St. Louis.

Vegas Golden Knights @ Colorado Avalanche – 9:00 PM ET

Vegas loss to Colorado on Saturday, 3-2. Marc-Andre Fleury was solid in net, stopping 36 of 39 shots. The Golden Knights are 10-4-1, still leading the West Division because of their .700 winning percentage.

They have a +11 goal differential. Fleury will likely be back in net on Monday. He has a 1.71 GAA and a .935 save percentage in 10 starts. Jonathan Marchessault recorded his 12th point on Saturday, third most on the team.


Philipp Grubauer continues to be ridiculously good this season, stopping 27 of 29 shots against Vegas. Nathan MacKinnon added a goal and two assists. He now leads Colorado with 18 total points.

Grubauer has started 12 of Colorado’s 14 games and has a 1.67 GAA and a .936 save percentage. The Avalanche are 9-4-1 with a +15 goal differential, best in the division. They are 5-1-0 at home.

Anaheim Ducks @ Arizona Coyotes – 9:00 PM ET

Anaheim was buried by Minnesota on Saturday, 5-1. The Ducks are 6-9-3, last in the West. They have a -16 goal differential, worst in the division. John Gibson allowed five goals on 29 shots, giving him a 2.57 GAA and a .912 save percentage.

Gibson is wearing down, allowing three or more goals in four of his last five appearances. Anaheim is averaging 1.83 goals per game, last in the league.


Arizona lost to Los Angeles on Saturday, 4-2. The Coyotes are 7-7-3. Phil Kessel had a goal and an assist in the loss. That now gives him 11 points, tied for fourth on the team.

His six goals are tied for second. Darcy Kuemper allowed three goals on just 22 shots. He has started 14 of the team’s 17 games with a 2.28 GAA and a .917 save percentage.

Minnesota Wild @ San Jose Sharks – 10:30 PM ET

Minnesota defeated Anaheim on Saturday, 5-1, their second straight victory. Kaapo Kahkonen was excellent between the pipes for the second straight game for the Wild, stopping 26 of 27 shots.

He now has a 2.46 GAA and a .911 save percentage in nine appearances. Kevin Fiala had two goals and an assist in the victory over Anaheim. That now gives him six goals, tied for the team lead. Minnesota is 8-6-0.


San Jose defeated St. Louis on Saturday, 5-4. The Sharks are 7-7-2 with a -13 goal differential. The Monday contest will be just third at home for San Jose the season (1-1-0). It is expected that Martin Jones will be back in net.

Jones has a 3.66 GAA and a .882 save percentage in 11 starts. Logan Couture had two goals in the victory over St. Louis. He now has nine goals and 15 total points. Both numbers lead the Sharks.
