Dallas Stars @ Tampa Bay Lightning – 7PM ET

It has been a quality start to the regular season for the Dallas Stars and they will be looking to grab another victory here on Monday night on the road against Tampa Bay. Dallas comes into this game with 14 victories, through their first 22 games of the regular season, and they will be looking to further establish themselves as a legitimate contender with a victory here on Monday night on the road in one of the toughest venues in the league. Dallas comes into this game sitting in second place of their division, and they will be looking to further gain ground on the first place team with a quality performance here on Monday night against the Lightning. It has been the Joe Pavelski show for Dallas throughout the early part of the season as he is recording points left and right, and leading them to victories as well. This will also be their second consecutive game against Tampa Bay and the last time these two teams met Dallas put up eight goals at home. They will be looking to replicate that performance here on Monday night on the road this time around.

Tampa Bay will be looking to bounce back after they were crushed by Dallas and their last game on the road as they look to defend their home ice and even up the season series against the Stars in the process. It has been a less than impressive start to the regular season for the Tampa Bay Lightning as they come into this game five games below .500 through their first 25 games of the season. They will be looking for their 11th victory of the year here on Monday night on the road against the stars, as they look to bounce back from that crushing eight to one defeat. It is one of the most embarrassing losses in the league this season, and they will be looking to get revenge for that in this game at home as they look to return the favor to Dallas. Tampa Bay has that issues on the defensive end of the ice all season long so it is not surprising Dallas was able to do that to them in their previous game. While I don’t expect Dallas to score 8 goals in this game on Monday night I do expect them to grab a second consecutive victory over Tampa Bay. 

Pittsburgh Penguins @ Philadelphia Flyers – 7PM ET

It has been a rough start to the regular season for the Pittsburgh Penguins, and they will be looking to bounce back in their second consecutive game against the Philadelphia Flyers. They will be looking to get revenge for their shootout loss to Philadelphia at home in their previous contest. As they look to return the favor on the road in Philadelphia here on Monday night and get themselves a huge momentum boost in the process. Pittsburgh comes into this game in desperate need of a momentum boosting victory heading into the early part of December as they look to get things on track before flipping the calendar to 2024. Pittsburgh comes into this game one game below the .500 mark with 11 victories through their first 23 games of the regular season. They will be looking to grab their 12th victory of the season here on Monday night on the road and Philadelphia but they will have to play much better than they did over the weekend at home against the Flyers. 

The Philadelphia Flyers will be looking for their second second consecutive victory against the Pittsburgh Penguins with another quality performance here at home on Monday night. It was a solid way for Philadelphia to bounce back and snap a two game losing streak in their previous game. Philadelphia comes into this game sitting at .500 through their first 24 games of the regular season and they will be looking to grab their 13th victory of the year here in this one. Philadelphia has a chance to be successful this season if they improve on both ends of the ice and get a little bit more efficient in their goaltending as they are giving up about three goals a game while also scoring around three goals a game. They also gave up three goals to Pittsburgh and their previous game against them and that is something they will be looking to change here on Monday night at home. That is exactly what I expect but regardless of the final score, I still look for the Philadelphia Flyers to pick up the victory here at home on Monday.

Seattle Kraken @ Montreal Canadiens – 7:30PM ET

The Seattle Kraken made their first playoff appearance in franchise history last season, but they have gotten off to a rather rough start to this season. They will be looking for a solid momentum boosting victory here on Monday night on the road north of the border in Canada against the Montréal Canadiens. As they look to get some momentum rolling in the right direction heading into the month of December, and they look to put themselves in a position to make a second consecutive playoff appearance this season. Seattle comes into this game nine games below the 500 mark through their first 25 games of the regular season and that is something that they will be looking to change by the time New Year’s Eve comes around. As they will look for a victory in this game against Montreal again, as much momentum as possible throughout the rest of the month, and they desperately need a victory if they want to remain competitive as well. Seattle will be looking at snap a four game losing streak here on Monday night in Montreal as well.

It hasn’t been a banner start to the regular season for the Montréal Canadiens either and they will be looking for a momentum boost with a victory here at home on Monday night against the Seattle Kraken. Montreal has struggled a lot over the last several years and they have not really been a contender and they’ve clearly been the worst of the Canadian teams in the league as well. Montreal comes into this game with 14 losses through their first 24 games of the regular season and they will be looking for their 11th victory of the year here on Monday night at home against the Seattle Kraken. Montreal needs to clean up their play on the defensive end of the ice as they are giving up over three goals per game throughout the early part of the regular season and that is not sustainable for long-term success. They will be looking to snap a two game losing streak in this game on Monday at home but I expect this game to go over the total goals, regardless of who comes out on top between Seattle and Montreal. 

Carolina Hurricanes @ Winnipeg Jets – 7:30PM ET

It has been a decent start to the season for the Carolina Hurricanes, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Monday night north of the border against the Winnipeg Jets. Carolina has been a contender over the last several seasons, and they will be looking to further establish themselves as they can tender this season with a quality road victory against one of the top teams in the league right now. Carolina comes into this game with 14 victories through their first 23 games of the regular season and they will be looking for their 15th win here on Monday night on the road in Canada. They are currently second in their division, and they will be looking to gain ground on the first place team with another quality performance here in this one, as they looked again as much momentum as possible heading into the month of December. Carolina comes into this game with some momentum after beating Buffalo in their previous contest.

The Winnipeg Jets are off to a decent start to the regular regular season as well and they will be looking for a victory here at home on Monday night against Carolina. Winnipeg has been much improved throughout the early part of this regular season compared to the last couple of years. Now they will be looking to maintain that momentum in this game on Monday night as they look to get the month of December started off on a solid note with a victory over a tough Carolina Hurricanes team. Winnipeg comes into this game with 13 victories through their first 23 games of the regular season and they will be looking for win number 14 here on Monday night in front of their home fans. They should be one of the best games of the Monday slate as these two quality playoff contending teams face off here in Canada. But in the end I do look for the Winnipeg Jets to pull out the victory on their home ice and grab a crucial win over the Carolina Hurricanes.

St.Louis Blues @ Vegas Golden Knights – 10PM ET

It has been somewhat of an underwhelming start to the regular season for the St. Louis Blues, and they will be looking to get things on track with a victory on the road against the defending Stanley Cup champions. St. Louis has been a contender over the last several seasons. They have hit a ceiling every time they get to the playoffs and they will be looking to change that narrative with a deep playoff run this season. However, they have to be successful in the regular season first if they want to reach the postseason, and so far that has not been the case, and they will need to change something rather quickly, if they want to remain competitive throughout the month of December. St. Louis comes into this game hovering right above .500 and they will be looking for their 13th victory of the season here on Monday night against the Vegas, Golden Knights, and one of the toughest venues in the league.

The Las Vegas Golden Knights are not experiencing any type of championship hangover throughout the early part of the regular season, and they will be looking to maintain that momentum with a victory here on Monday night at home. They have already established themselves as a legitimate contender to repeat as Stanley Cup champions, with their play throughout the early part of the year, and they will be looking for another huge victory here in +his one, as they look to maintain their solid start of the season at home as well. Vegas comes into this game with 16 victories through their first 25 games of the regular season and they will be looking for their 17th win of the year here on Monday night against the Blues. Vegas comes into this game with a little bit of momentum as they are currently on a two game-winning streak, and I expect them to pick up their third consecutive victory here on Monday.
