With 19 points, Kelly Olynyk also had a strong game. The Jazz are one game ahead of the Denver Nuggets atop the Western Conference, currently sitting in first.
The teams are meeting for the first time this season. Detroit and Utah split their matchups last season, winning one apiece. The Jazz earned the win in the last meeting 111-101 at Vivint Arena on January 21. Rudy Gobert led the Jazz with 24 points, 14 rebounds, and four blocks. Cade Cunningham had 25 points, six rebounds, and three blocks in the loss.
