The teams are meeting for the final time this season. Minnesota will be aiming for a season sweep against Oklahoma City after winning the only prior meeting 115-108 at Target Center on Wednesday, their fifth straight head-to-head victory. Rudy Gobert led the Timberwolves with 23 points and 16 rebounds. Gilgeous-Alexander had 32 points and six rebounds in defeat.
The T’Wolves have been led so far this season by Russell (21.5 ppg), Edwards (20.5), and Karl-Anthony Towns (19.5). Towns also has dished 4.5 assists per game. Meanwhile, Gobert is grabbing 19.5 rebounds per game. Gilgeous-Alexander’s 30.0 points per game have powered the Thunder on offense. He ranks as the 10th-highest scorer in the NBA.
Gilgeous-Alexander also has doled out 6.0 assists per game. Giddey has posted 11.5 rebounds per game. The Timberwolves have had the advantage in the last 10 games at Paycom Center, winning six.
