The teams are meeting for the final time this season. Boston will be looking for a season sweep against Oklahoma City after taking the only prior meeting 126-122 at TD Garden in November 2022, their third straight head-to-head victory.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander topped all players in scoring with 37 points and eight assists in defeat. Jayson Tatum had 27 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocks for the Celtics.
The Celts have been led this season by Tatum and Brown, who are averaging 30.9 and 27.1 points per game, respectively. Tatum is fourth in the league in scoring. Tatum also has grabbed 8.1 rebounds per game. Meanwhile, Marcus Smart is dishing 7.4 assists per game.
Gilgeous-Alexander has supplied much of the Thunder’s offense, averaging 30.8 points per game. He has the fifth-best scoring average in the NBA. Gilgeous-Alexander also has recorded 5.8 assists per game. Giddey has averaged 8.2 rebounds per game.
