The Philadelphia 76ers (42-22, 18-12 Away) will try to slow down one of the NBA’s top shooting teams when they travel to face the Minnesota Timberwolves (34-32, 20-14 Home) on Tuesday.

Minnesota won their third in a row on Saturday at Golden 1 Center, beating the Sacramento Kings 138-134. Anthony Edwards led the team in scoring with 27 points. With 18 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds, Kyle Anderson also produced a strong performance.

Embiid led the game in scoring with 32 points, nine rebounds, and six assists in the loss. Edwards had 25 points for the Timberwolves, while D’Angelo Russell added 19 points and seven assists. Embiid is averaging 33.2 points per game, second-highest in the NBA, to lead the Sixers in scoring this season.
Embiid also has grabbed 10.2 rebounds per game, eighth-most in the league. Meanwhile, James Harden is dishing 10.8 assists. Edwards (24.6 ppg) has been the primary provider of the T’Wolves’ offense. Rudy Gobert is posting 11.6 rebounds per game, fourth-most in the NBA, and Russell is doling out 6.2 assists.
Shooting 49.2% from the field for the season, the Timberwolves are one of the most accurate field goal shooting teams in the NBA (4th). The teams have split their last 10 meetings at Target Center (5-5).
