The Grizzlies triumphed in the last meeting 115-95 at FedExForum on January 29. Ja Morant led the Grizzlies with 34 points. Kyle Kuzma had 30 points and eight rebounds in the losing effort.
The Wizards have been led this season by Beal and Kristaps Porzingis, who are averaging 21.6 and 20.2 points per game, respectively. Porzingis also has grabbed 8.7 rebounds per game, while Beal has dished 5.7 assists per game. Morant’s 29.0 points per game have powered the Grizzlies on offense. He ranks as the ninth-highest scorer in the league.
Morant also has distributed 7.0 assists per game. Adams has averaged 11.1 rebounds per game. The Grizzlies are averaging 118.7 points per game, ranking as the most explosive offense in the league. The Wizards are only 2-8 in their last 10 trips to FedExForum. Memphis has yet to suffer defeat at home this season.
