Los Angeles swept all three games between the teams last season, the last of which was a 113-100 triumph at Toyota Center on March 1, their third straight head-to-head victory. Ivica Zubac led the Clippers with 22 points and 12 rebounds.
Jalen Green had 20 points in defeat. Porter Jr. and Green, averaging 21.3 and 19.9 points per game, respectively, have led the Rockets in scoring this season. Porter Jr. also has dished 5.3 assists per game. Meanwhile, Alperen Sengun is grabbing 10.0 rebounds per game. Paul George has powered the Clips’ offense, averaging 19.0 points per game.
Zubac is pulling down 11.8 rebounds per game, fifth-most in the league, and John Wall is recording 4.6 assists. The Clippers are holding the opposition to one of the NBA’s worst FG%, ranking fifth at 44.0%. The Clippers have had success in recent clashes between the teams at Crypto.com Arena, winning six of the last 10. Houston has yet to earn a win on the road this season.
