Dallas Mavericks @ Washington Wizards – 7PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Dallas Mavericks are enjoying a pretty successful start of the season, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Wednesday night on the road against Washington. Dallas comes into this game with eight victories through their first ten games of the season and they will be looking for their ninth victory of the year here on Wednesday night in the nation’s capital. Dallas has the ability to be one of the best teams in the league this season as long as they remain healthy and consistent throughout the regular season, and as of right now they are doing exactly that. Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving are both posting solid numbers throughout the early part of the regular season and both of them will be looking to keep that going with a pair of quality performances here on Wednesday night. This will be the second game of a back-to-back for Dallas after playing New Orleans on Tuesday night and they will be looking to cap off this back to back with a victory here on Wednesday.

Washington is off to a pretty rough start to the season as the acquisition of Jordan Poole has not paid off like many people would’ve hoped. It does not seem like it will be long before more issues start growing within the Washington organization as their main star seems to want to run the show, when he is not performing up to the level of a superstar throughout the early part of the regular season. They will be looking to get things on track with a victory here at home against Dallas on Wednesday night after a slow start to the year as they look to bounce back against one of the top teams in the league this season. Washington has the rest advantage in this one after not being in action on Tuesday night for group play of the NBA in season tournament and they will be looking to use that to their advantage to grab a victory. Unfortunately for Washington I still don’t see that happening as I look for Dallas to overcome the rest disadvantage and pick up a victory here on Wednesday night on the road against the Wizards.

SportsTips’ NBA Pick:

Dallas Mavericks -5.5 (-110)

New York Knicks @ Atlanta Hawks – 7:30PM ET

Tony Battalio

The New York Knicks had plenty of expectations coming into the season, but they have not lived up to those expectations throughout the early part of the year. After upsetting the Cleveland Cavaliers in the opening round of the postseason last year, despite being eliminated the very next round, many people had high expectations for New York, coming into this season. They have struggled throughout the early part of the season, and they will be looking for a victory on the road in Atlanta here on Wednesday night as they look to get things back on track throughout November. New York has split their first ten games of the season and they come into this game on the road in Atlanta looking to pick up their sixth victory of the year here on Wednesday night. They did have some momentum up until their previous game against Boston when they lost, snapping a three game winning streak. Now they will be looking to get back into the win column with a quality performance here against the Atlanta Hawks.

The Atlanta Hawks had a rough start to the season, but they have been picking up a ton of momentum over the last couple of weeks and getting themselves in a position to be successful. They come into this game hovering around the .500 mark through their first ten games of the season and they will be looking for another victory here on Wednesday night. This will be the second game of a back-to-back for the Atlanta Hawks after coming home from Detroit after their previous game on Tuesday night and they will be looking to wrap up this back to back with a positive result here on Wednesday against New York. Trae Young, and Dejounte Murray will have to carry the load in this one for the Atlanta Hawks if they want to find success against the quality New York Knicks team here in this game. I expect this to be a close and competitive game throughout the majority of the contest, but in the end, I do look for the Knicks to take advantage of the rest advantage they will have and pull out the victory here in this one.

SportsTips’ NBA Pick:

NY Knicks (-105)

Boston Celtics @ Philadelphia 76ers – 7:30PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Boston Celtics are enjoying a pretty solid start to the regular season, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Wednesday night on the road in Philadelphia. Boston comes into this game with eight victories through their first ten games of the season, and this game will be for the top spot in the Eastern Conference against a red hot Philadelphia team as well. They have been enjoying long-term success throughout the last several regular seasons but Boston is still waiting for it to carryover into the postseason so they can chase an elusive NBA championship. As long as they remain healthy and consistent throughout this year’s regular season, they have the potential to finish as the top seed in the conference and get themselves some favorable home playoff series throughout the Eastern Conference playoffs. Boston comes into this game on a three game losing streak, and their last loss was to Philadelphia on the road and they will be looking for revenge for that in this game as well.

The Philadelphia 76ers are also off to a hot start this season, and they come into this game on Wednesday night riding a wave of momentum. After losing their opening game of the season to the Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia has gotten hot and they’ve rarely lost since. This will be the second game of a back-to-back for the Philadelphia 76ers after playing the Indiana Pacers in tournament action on Tuesday night and they will be looking to wrap up this back-to-back on a positive note here on Wednesday night. They have already picked up one victory this season against the Boston Celtics at home after taking them down by three points about a week and a half ago, and they will be looking for a second consecutive victory against Boston here in this one at home as well. I expect this to be the most competitive game of the night as I look for this one to go back-and-forth down to the final whistle, but in the end, I do think Boston takes home the win.

Milwaukee Bucks @ Toronto Raptors – 7:30PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Milwaukee Bucks come into this game looking to pick up a quality victory north of the border in Toronto to get the momentum rolling early on in the season. They came into this season with high expectations after combining Damian Lillard with Giannis Antetokounmpo on the court, but so far Lillard has missed a few games here and there, and it has hampered the progress of their super team throughout the early part of the regular season. Once this team finally gets fully healthy and becomes compatible they will be one of the most dangerous teams in the league, and they will likely be the favorites to win the NBA championship as well. Milwaukee comes into this game with six victories through their first ten games of the season and they will be looking for their seventh victory of the year here on Wednesday night on the road against the Toronto Raptors. They recently snapped a two game losing streak in their previous game and they will be looking to grab a second consecutive victory here in this one.

The Toronto Raptors come into this game after experiencing a bit of a slow start to the regular season. They will be looking to get things turned around here on Wednesday night at home against the Milwaukee Bucks as they look to establish themselves as a potential contender within the Eastern Conference this season. Toronto comes into this game after splitting their first ten games of the season and they will be looking for their sixth victory of the year here on Wednesday night at home against one of the top teams in the league. Toronto comes into this game with a bit of momentum after winning three out of their last four games on the year, and they have already picked up one victory over the Milwaukee Bucks this season as well. As they beat them by 19 points when they met in Toronto the previous time, and Toronto will be looking to secure the season series with a second consecutive victory over Milwaukee here in this one. Unfortunately for Toronto I don’t look for lightning to strike twice, as I look for the Bucks to grab the win on the road.

SportsTips’ NBA Pick:

Milwaukee Bucks -5.5 (+105)

Orlando Magic @ Chicago Bulls – 8PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Orlando Magic are off to a decent start this season considering they are one of the youngest teams in the league. They will be looking to keep that decent start alive with a victory on the road against the Chicago Bulls here on Wednesday night in the Windy City. They come into this game hovering around the .500 mark through their first ten games of the season. This will be the second game of a back to back for the Orlando Magic after playing the Brooklyn Nets in tournament action on Tuesday night, and they will be looking to wrap this back to back up with a positive result here on Wednesday against Chicago. This will also be the first of two consecutive games for Orlando against Chicago as they will play the Chicago Bulls on the road in tournament action later this week as well. so they will be looking to get this many two game series off on the right foot with a victory here on Tuesday night against Chicago as they look to keep gaining as much momentum as possible throughout November.

The Chicago Bulls are experiencing a rough start to the season given all the expectations they had coming into the year. They will be looking to get the momentum rolling in the right direction and pick up a victory here on Tuesday night against Orlando as they face the Magic for the first game of a mini two game series between the two teams that will conclude on Friday night with a tournament game. Chicago will be looking to get a solid victory at home against a young and hungry Orlando Magic team, as they look to make up for their slow start to the regular season. They come into this game as losers of seven out of their first 11 games on the year, and they will need to turn things around rather quickly in a loaded Eastern Conference if they want to remain in the playoff race throughout the early part of the regular season. I do expect Chicago to pick up the victory here on Wednesday night at home over the Orlando Magic as I think they will use their rest advantage to their advantage and pick up a much-needed victory here in this one.

SportsTips’ NBA Pick:

Chicago Bulls -3.5 (-115)
