Indiana Pacers @ Milwaukee Bucks – 5PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Indiana Pacers come into this game looking for a huge victory over the Milwaukee Bucks in the semifinals of the NBA in-season tournament. They are off to a decent start to the regular season and they will look to keep the momentum rolling here in this game on Thursday night on the road in Milwaukee. Indiana comes into this game with 11 victories through their first 19 games of the regular season and they will be looking for win number 12 here on Thursday night against the Milwaukee Bucks. The play of point guard Tyrese Haliburton has helped lead them to this fantastic start to the regular season as he has easily been the best point guard in the league throughout the early part of the regular season. He will be looking to maintain those numbers and lead the Indiana Pacers to their biggest win of the season yet against the Milwaukee Bucks on the road in this tournament matchup. They come into this game with plenty of momentum after back-to-back victories over Miami and Boston and they will be looking for a third straight win here on Thursday night.

The Milwaukee Bucks are one of the best teams in the league this season, and the combination of Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo are finally starting to find some chemistry out on the court. That is bad news for the other 29 teams in the league as this duo could end up being the most dominant duo in the league. They could easily lead the Milwaukee Bucks to an NBA championship this season, if they remain healthy and consistent throughout the remainder of the year. Milwaukee comes into this game with plenty of momentum, and they will be looking for a victory here at home on Thursday night in the semifinals of this tournament against the Indiana Pacers. They are coming off of a quarterfinals victory against the New York Knicks and their previous game, and they will be looking for a second consecutive tournament victory in this one, as they look to advance to the finals against the representative from the Western Conference. I expect this to be a close and competitive game here on Thursday night, but in the end I do look for Milwaukee to pick up the victory over Indiana.

New Orleans Pelicans @ Los Angeles Lakers – 9PM ET

Tony Battalio

New Orleans comes into this game on Thursday night looking to get a victory on the road against the Los Angeles Lakers to advance to the finals of this tournament. If this New Orleans team could remain healthy and consistent, they would arguably be one of the best teams in the league, but that is something they’ve struggled with throughout the early part of the regular season. As all three members of their big three have missed some amount of time throughout the early part of the season with the most amount of time missed going to CJ McCollum as he dealt with a collapsed lung earlier this year. However, they should all be ready to go for this game against Los Angeles here on Thursday night on the road and they will be looking to pull off the upset victory to advance to the finals of this NBA tournament and earn a chance to win $500,000 per player.

The Los Angeles Lakers come into this game fully healthy and ready to go here on Thursday night at home against New Orleans. Despite both LeBron James and Anthony Davis Davis missing time throughout the early part of the regular season, they are still off to a quality start of the year. Now they will look to keep the momentum rolling with another victory here on Thursday night against the Pelicans in this tournament matchup. The Los Angeles Lakers come to this game with 13 victories through their first 22 games of the regular season and they will be looking for their 14th win of the year here on Thursday night at home. They come into this game with plenty of momentum as they have picked up two victories in a row and three of their last four have resulted in wins as well. I expect them to make it a third consecutive victory with another victory here on Thursday night at home over New Orleans.
