Denver Nuggets @ Oklahoma City Thunder – 3:30pm ET

Tony Battalio

The Denver Nuggets will be looking for a quality early season victory here on the road on Sunday afternoon in Oklahoma City. The defending NBA champions are off to a decent start this season, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here in this one with a huge road victory as they look to set the tone early on their title defense season. Denver comes into their third game of the season after picking up consecutive victories to open up the year and they will be looking to make it a three game-winning streak with another quality performance here in this game on Sunday afternoon in Oklahoma City. This will be the second game of their road trip after they picked up a victory on the road in Memphis the other night.

Oklahoma City comes into this game undefeated through their first two games of the season and they will be looking to pick up a third consecutive victory here on Sunday night at home. This will be their toughest test of the season as they will take on the defending NBA champions here on Sunday afternoon, and they will be looking to conquer the test behind their home crowd and continue their quality start to the regular season. They have already picked up a pair of victories against the Chicago Bulls and the Cleveland Cavaliers throughout their first two games of the season and now they will be looking to take down the Denver Nuggets here on Sunday. Unfortunately for Oklahoma City I don’t see that happening as I look for the Denver Nuggets to pick up the victory on the road.

SportsTips’ NBA Pick:

Denver Nuggets (-155)

Golden State Warriors @ Houston Rockets – 7pm ET

Tony Battalio

The Golden State Warriors will be looking to hit the road to Houston and grab a quality victory here on Sunday night as they look to keep the momentum rolling early on in the season. They have split their opening two games of the season, and they will be looking to grab their second victory of the year here in this one on Sunday to continue their winning streak and extend it to two games after picking up a victory in their previous contest. Draymond Green will be a gametime decision for them, and they should likely grab a victory, regardless of whether he is in the lineup or not against a young and inexperienced Houston Rockets team here on Sunday night on the road in Houston.

The Houston Rockets still have plenty of years of rebuilding left, as they are just very young and inexperienced coming into this season. They will be looking to grab a massive momentum boosting victory here in this game on Sunday night at home as they will be looking to put their rebuild ahead of schedule with a quality performance throughout this year’s regular season. Houston is winless throughout their first two games of the year and they will be looking to change that with their first victory of the season here in this one on Sunday evening against the Golden State Warriors. Unfortunately for the Houston Rockets, I don’t see that happening as I look for Golden State to grab the road victory here on Sunday night.

GS Warriors (-190)

Atlanta Hawks @ Milwaukee Bucks – 7pm ET

Tony Battalio

The Atlanta Hawks come into this game on Sunday night looking to grab a massive momentum boosting victory on the road against arguably the best team in the entire league this season. It has been a rough start to the season for the Atlanta Hawks as they have yet to pick up a victory through their first two games of the season, and they will be looking to take down one of the best teams in the league here on Sunday night for their first one of the year. Atlanta will have to play a near perfect game of basketball if they want to pull off the upset victory here on the road in Milwaukee on Sunday night and it’ll take the entirety of their rotation scoring consistently and they will have to play solid defense on Giannis and Dame if they want to grab a win here in this one as well.

The Milwaukee Bucks aren’t undefeated coming into their third game of the season but they have gotten all they could ask for from Damian Lillard so far, as he is averaging about 39 points per game this season. With him and Giannis Antetokounmpo on the floor at the same time this Milwaukee Bucks team is going to be very dangerous throughout the season. They will look to be dangerous here in this game on Sunday night at home against the Atlanta Hawks, as Milwaukee looks to pick up their second victory of the season. That is exactly what I expect as I don’t look for this game to be very close throughout the majority of the contest, and I expect Milwaukee to run away with this one and pick up a victory here on Sunday night at home.

SportsTips’ NBA Pick:

Milwaukee Bucks -6.5 (-110)

Portland Trail Blazers @ Philadelphia 76ers – 7:30pm ET

Tony Battalio

Portland is still ushering in the post Damian Lillard era and they will be looking to do so with a victory on the road in Philadelphia here on Sunday night. It would be a massive momentum boosting victory for them if they can get the job done here on Sunday night on the road in the city of brotherly love. They have yet to pick up a victory this season, and they will be looking to break through the glass ceiling after losing their first two games of the year. They are coming off of a five point loss of the Orlando Magic at home and their previous game and this will kickstart a road trip for the team as they look to get things going in the right direction heading into the second week of the regular season.

The Philadelphia 76ers come into this game to make up for their season opening loss in their first game of the year. They will be looking to grab their first victory of the season here on Sunday night at home against Portland and it is still unknown if James Harden will feature for the team this season. He has already been rolled out for this game on Sunday night which means they will not have him for this one and guys like Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey will have to step up in a big way if Philadelphia wants to grab their first win of the year. That is exactly what I expect as I look for the Philadelphia 76ers to pick up the victory over Portland here on Sunday night at home.

SportsTips’ NBA Pick:

Philadelphia 76ers -9.5 (-115)

Los Angeles Lakers @ Sacramento Kings – 9pm ET

Tony Battalio

The Los Angeles Lakers come into this game looking to get a quality early season victory against another contender in the Western Conference here on Sunday night in Sacramento. Los Angeles is off to a decent start this season, and they will be looking to remain competitive in the face of the very difficult schedule that they play early on in the season. LeBron James and Anthony Davis will have to get the job done in this game if they want to beat a Sacramento Kings team here on Sunday night on the road as they are one of the toughest teams in the entire league to face off against in their own home arena. Los Angeles has some momentum coming into this game coming off of their victory over the Phoenix Suns in their previous game.

The Sacramento Kings come into this game looking to get a victory at home against the Los Angeles Lakers here on Sunday evening. Sacramento made plenty of progress last year and they made the postseason for the first time in a long time and they will be looking to continue that success as well into this season. A victory over the Los Angeles Lakers here in this game would give them a huge momentum boost and provide them with an early season statement win over another top team in the conference. Sacramento was arguably one of the more consistent teams in basketball last season and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling and that is exactly what I expect. As I think they will pick up the victory here in this game on Sunday night at home where they were one of the toughest teams in the league to beat last season.

SportsTips’ NBA Pick:

Sacramento Kings (-140)
