Phoenix Suns @ Philadelphia 76ers – 1PM ET

The Phoenix Suns will be looking for a quality early-season victory against another potential NBA title contender here on Saturday afternoon on the road in Philadelphia. It has been a rough start to the season for Phoenix as they have dropped three out of their first five games of the season and they will be looking to get back on track with a crucial victory here on Saturday afternoon against Philadelphia despite all the talent on their roster, several key components have missed a game here there, which has left them shorthanded throughout the early part of the season. Once this Phoenix team gets healthy, they should be a force to be reckoned with in the Western Conference as long as Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal can remain consistent and on the court throughout the year. 

The Philadelphia 76ers will be looking to grab a quality victory over the Phoenix Suns here on Saturday afternoon in front of their home fans. They are off to a very solid start this season, despite all the distractions off of the court that have been surrounding the franchise like the once impending trade of James Harden. Now that that has been completed, Philadelphia can move on and focus on the upcoming season and that is exactly what they will be looking to do here on Saturday afternoon against the Phoenix Suns. Philadelphia comes into this game as winners of three out of their first four games of the season, and they will be looking to grab their fourth victory of the year here in this one at home. I expect it to be a quality matchup between two top teams but in the end, I think it’ll be the Philadelphia 76ers that come out on top in front of their home fans.

Los Angeles Lakers @ Orlando Magic – 7PM ET

The Los Angeles Lakers will be looking to grab their second victory of the season against the Orlando Magic here on Saturday night on the road in Orlando. The last time these two teams played Los Angeles got themselves a solid victory at home and they will be looking to flip the script and grab a win on the road in the final scheduled meeting of the season between these two teams. It was a close game last time around as the Los Angeles Lakers escaped with a three-point victory and they will be looking to get a little bit of a more comfortable margin this time around and still grab themselves a quality performance here on Saturday night on the road. They should be at full strength for this one here on Saturday night, and they will be looking to flex their muscles and continue their solid start to the season. 

The Orlando Magic are young and hungry, and they are off to a decent start this season by their own standards. They are coming off of a long and lengthy, four game road trip out on the West Coast and they will be looking to return home with a quality performance against the Los Angeles Lakers here on Saturday night. Orlando will also be looking to get even for their loss to the Los Angeles Lakers earlier this week where they came up just short on the road in a solid effort. They have picked up three victories in their first five games of the season, and they come into this game on a one game winning streak after grabbing a win against Utah. I expect them to fight hard in this game, but in the end, I think it’ll be Los Angeles that comes out with yet another win over Orlando.

Boston Celtics @ Brooklyn Nets – 8PM ET

There is not much to complain about if you’re a Boston Celtics fan early on in the season as they come into this game off to a hot start. They will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Saturday night, on the road against the Brooklyn Nets, as they look to gain a huge victory within the Eastern Conference, and further establish themselves as an NBA title contender this year. Boston is coming off an absolute blowout of the Indiana Pacers in their previous game where they put up 155 points. Now they will be looking to replicate that offensive production here on Saturday night on the road in Brooklyn as they look for their fifth win of the season. The majority of their games have been blowout victories, and they will be looking to add to that total with another quality performance here on Saturday.

The Brooklyn Nets will be looking to grab a crucial upset victory early on in the year here on Saturday night at home against the Boston Celtics. It has been a crazy few years for Brooklyn as they went from one of the super teams in the league with the likes of Kevin Durant, Kyrie, Irving, and James Harden on their roster, to being just another team in a loaded Eastern Conference. Now Brooklyn is stuck somewhere between being a rebuilding team and a competitive team that could potentially grab a lower playoff spot in the conference, and they will be looking for a statement victory here on Saturday night at home against the Boston Celtics. It’s been a pretty average start of the season for Brooklyn and I don’t see it getting much better for them in this one as I have Boston picking up the one on the road.

Sacramento Kings @ Houston Rockets – 8PM ET

The Sacramento Kings are off to a rough start this season after coming into the year with plenty of expectations. They will be looking to get things turned around with a quality performance here on Saturday night in Houston. They come into this game with a pair of victories, through their first four games of the season, and they will be looking to pick up their third victory of the season here on Saturday night on the road against the Houston Rockets. Last season they broke a decades long playoff drought, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling and make a second consecutive playoff appearance. For Sacramento this is one of those games that you just can’t quite afford to lose against a less than impressive team like Houston early on in the season. They will be looking to get on track after losing two games to Golden State in their last three contests. 

The Houston Rockets are a young and hungry team and they come into this game looking for a statement victory over a team that is expected to be one of the top teams within the Western Conference this season. The Rockets are off to a pretty rough start this season as they have lost three out of their first four games on the year, and they will be looking for a crucial momentum boosting victory here on Saturday night in front of their home fans. They recently snapped a three game losing streak, and their previous game against the Charlotte Hornets and they will be looking for their second consecutive victory of the season here on Saturday night against the Sacramento Kings. Unfortunately for Houston I don’t see that happening as I look for the Kings to pick up the victory on the road here on Saturday night.

Utah Jazz @ Minnesota Timberwolves – 8PM ET

It has been a rough start of the season for the Utah Jazz, and they will be looking to get things under control with a victory here on Saturday night on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Utah came into this season with plenty of expectations, and they will be looking to get things on track with a victory against a struggling Minnesota team early on in the year. Utah has played the most games in the league and they come into this game as losers of four out of their first six games on the season, and they will be looking to grab their third victory of the year here on Saturday night in Minnesota. Utah comes into this game, looking to snap a one game losing streak after dropping their previous contest to the Orlando Magic at home.

The Minnesota Timberwolves will be looking for a quality early season victory at home against the Utah Jazz here on Saturday night. It has been a pretty average start of the season for Minnesota as they have split their first four games of the year and they come into this game with two victories to their name. They will be looking to pick up their third victory of the season, where they quality performance here at home on Saturday night as they look to take down a Utah Jazz team that should be performing a lot better than they currently are. Minnesota does have some momentum coming into this game as they are coming off of a victory against the defending NBA champions, and they will be looking to parlay that into a second consecutive victory here on Saturday evening. Unfortunately for Minnesota I don’t see that happening as I look for Utah to grab the victory here in this one.
