Golden State Warriors @ Detroit Pistons – 7PM ET

Tony Battalio

This will be the second game of a back-to-back for the Golden State Warriors after they faced off with the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night. They are off to a fantastic start this season and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Monday night on the road in Detroit as this road trip continues for Golden State. Golden State is a team that struggled mightily on the road last season and that is something they will be looking to improve upon this season and it would start with grabbing a victory over Detroit here on Monday night in the Motor City. Despite both teams playing on Sunday, Golden State had a later game which puts them at a rest disadvantage and they will be looking to overcome that and grab the win.

This is a young and hungry Detroit Pistons team, and they will be looking for a quality victory over one of the dynasties of the league at the moment with a victory here on Monday night at home. This will be the second game of a back to back for the Detroit Pistons at home after facing off with the Phoenix Suns on Sunday afternoon and they will be looking to cap off this back to back with a quality result against Golden State. It was a close and competitive game, but ultimately Detroit fell short late in the contest and they will be looking to bounce back with a victory here on Monday night against Golden State. Unfortunately or Detroit, I don’t see that happening as I look for the Golden State Warriors to pick up the victory on the road here on Monday night.

SportsTips’ NBA Pick:

GS Warriors -6.5 (-110)

San Antonio Spurs @ Indiana Pacers – 7PM ET

Tony Battalio

The San Antonio Spurs put up a solid effort in their game on Sunday afternoon against the Toronto Raptors but unfortunately, they fell short in overtime. Now they will be looking to bounce back in the second game of a back to back when they head to Indiana to play the Pacers here on Monday night as they look to keep the momentum rolling early on in the young season. Number one overall draft pick Victor Wembanyama has looked solid throughout his short career and he will be looking to continue improving upon his performances throughout the regular season. Given the situation that San Antonio find themselves and you can argue that this is a pretty decent start for them to the season and they will be looking to pick up yet another victory here on Monday night on the road in Indiana against the Pacers.

The Indiana Pacers come into this game looking to pick up a solid victory early on in the season against a young San Antonio Spurs team here on Monday night at home. Indiana is off to a pretty average start to the season and they come into this game with three victories through their first six games of the year. They will be looking for their fourth victory of the season, and they will have the rest advantage in this one after not being in action on Sunday like San Antonio was. Tyrese Haliburton will be the key to success for the Indiana Pacers in this game and he will be looking to put up quality numbers against San Antonio’s young guards. I expect to put together a pretty successful performance and grab a victory over San Antonio here on Monday night.

SportsTips’ NBA Pick:

Indiana Pacers -7.5 (-110)

Dallas Mavericks @ Orlando Magic – 7PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Dallas Mavericks will be looking to cap off the second game of this back-to-back with a quality performance against the Orlando Magic here on Monday night on the road in Orlando. Dallas was in action against the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday and now they will be looking to come off of short rest and pick up a victory over Orlando here on Monday night, as they look to find success during the opening game of this road trip. Dallas is off to a pretty successful start this season, and they can attribute that success to the play of Luka Dončić and Kyrie Irving as they are yelling and playing well throughout the early part of their first full season together in Dallas. They will be looking for a solid early-season victory here on Monday night in Orlando to kick off this road trip against the Magic.

The Orlando Magic come into this game looking to get a solid early season victory against the Dallas Mavericks as they could use a much-needed momentum boost early on in the year. They are a young and hungry team that has the potential to compete for a playoff spot within the Eastern Conference as long as they remain healthy and consistent throughout the regular season. Orlando comes into this game with four victories in their first six games of the season, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Monday night at home against one of the top teams in the league. Unfortunately for the Orlando Magic, I don’t see that happening as I look for Dallas to come on the road and pick up the win over the Magic here on Monday night.

SportsTips’ NBA Pick:

Dallas Mavericks (-105)

Washington Wizards @ Philadelphia 76ers – 7PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Washington Wizards come into this game looking to get an early season victory over a potential contender in the Eastern Conference here on Monday night on the road in Philadelphia. It is a bit of a new error for the Washington Wizards and it’s not off to the best start possible and they will be looking for a massive momentum boosting victory here on Monday night on the road. Washington finds themselves in a situation where this feels like a must win game early on in the season as they have lost four out of their first five contests this year. As of right now, the Jordan Poole experiment hasn’t been working quite well for them and that is something they will be looking to change with some quality performances here on Monday night in Philadelphia.

The Philadelphia 76ers will be looking to protect their home court with a quality performance here on Monday night against their conference rivals. Philadelphia has the potential to be a successful and competitive team throughout the regular season as long as they remain healthy and consistent and Joel Embiid plays up to MVP form as well. Even without James Harden it has been a pretty fast start to the season for Philadelphia as they come into this game with four victories, through their first five games of the season. They will be looking to keep the momentum rolling with another successful performance here on Monday night at home against Washington. That is exactly what I expect out of Philadelphia as I look for them to pick up the victory here in this one to get their fifth win of the year and give Washington their fifth loss of the year as well.

SportsTips’ NBA Pick:

Philadelphia 76ers -11.5 (-115)

Milwaukee Bucks @ Brooklyn Nets – 7:30PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Milwaukee Bucks are arguably the favorites in Las Vegas to win the NBA championship this season, but early on in the year they have been experiencing some troubles. Both Giannis Antetokounmpo nd Damian Lillard are putting up incredible individual performances almost nightly for the Milwaukee Bucks, but sometimes it is not resulting in victories for Milwaukee either. That is something they will be looking to change a quality performance here on Monday night on the road in Brooklyn against the Nets, as Milwaukee looks to get things rolling in the right direction. Milwaukee comes into this game with three victories through their first five games of the season and they will be looking to make it four out of six with another quality performance here on Monday night against Brooklyn.

The Brooklyn Nets will be looking for a huge momentum boosting victory early on in the year against potential NBA title favorites, the Milwaukee Bucks here on Monday night at home. They are off to a pretty average start to the season through their first six games as they have picked up three victories and three losses, and they will be looking to break the .500 mark with their fourth victory of the season here on Monday night at home. Brooklyn will be looking to bounce back from their loss to the Boston Celtics and their previous contest as that lost snapped a three game-winning streak for the team and they will be looking to jump right back into the column with another quality performance here on Monday night at home. Unfortunately for Brooklyn I don’t see that happening as I look for Milwaukee to pick up the victory here on Monday night.

SportsTips’ NBA Pick:

Milwaukee Bucks -5.5 (-110)
