New York Knicks @ Boston Celtics – 7:30PM ET

The New York Knicks were a playoff team last season, and they even upset the Cleveland Cavaliers in the opening round of the postseason as well. However, they are off to a pretty rough start this season, and they could use a huge momentum boosting win here on Monday night against the Boston Celtics to get things rolling in the right direction. The New York Knicks have plenty of talent on the roster, and they certainly have enough talent to once again compete for a playoff spot, despite how loaded the Eastern Conference is this season, but they will have to find some consistency throughout the early part of the year if they want to accomplish that goal. The Knicks come into this game with five victories, through their first nine games of the season after picking up a victory in the opening game of a back-to-back on Sunday. Now they will be looking for another victory to wrap up the back to back here on Monday against Boston.

The Boston Celtics are off to a pretty solid start this season, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Monday night at home against the New York Knicks. Boston has been one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference for the last several seasons, and they will be looking to hold that narrative with another fast start to this regular season as well. Boston comes into this game as winners of seven out of their first nine games on the season and they will be looking to make an eight out of 10 with another quality performance here on Monday night as they look to keep this hot start going. Boston comes into this game with plenty of momentum after back-to-back double digit wins over the Brooklyn Nets and the Toronto Raptors. Now I expect them to get a third consecutive victory here on Monday night against the New York Knicks. Not only do I look for Boston to pick up a comfortable victory in this game on Monday night, but I expect them to cover the spread in the process as well. 

Washington Wizards @ Toronto Raptors – 7:30PM ET

Washington had plenty of expectations coming into the season, but they have been a little bit disappointing throughout the early part of the year. They will be looking to get things on track, and it starts with grabbing a victory here on Monday night north of the border in Canada against the Toronto Raptors. This will be the second game of a back-to-back for Washington here on Monday night after facing off with the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday afternoon, and they will be looking to end this back to back on a positive note with a victory against the Raptors on the road. The combination of Kyle Kuzma and Jordan Poole hasn’t exactly meshed together as well as people would’ve expected throughout the early part of the season. That is something that will have to change rather quickly if Washington wants to find any type of sustainable success this season. 

The Toronto Raptors come into this game, looking to get their season, rolling in the right direction as well and a victory over Washington could go a long way in helping that here on Monday night at home. For years, the Toronto Raptors were one of the top top teams within the conference but, over the last year and a half they have found themselves more towards the bottom of the standings. They will be looking to get things back in order and find some success this season, but they will have to get the train back onto the tracks rather quickly to avoid falling behind in a pretty crowded conference. Toronto comes into this game as losers of five out of their first nine games on the year and they will be looking for their fifth victory of the season here on Monday night at home against Washington. I expect them to grab it at home in front of their home fans as I look for them to get a decent victory over the Wizards as they try to get some momentum buildup heading into the rest of November.

Chicago Bulls @ Milwaukee Bucks – 8PM ET

Chicago comes into this game looking to get an early season statement victory over one of the favorites to win the NBA title this season. Chicago had plenty of expectations of their own coming into the season but they have gotten off to a relatively slow start and they will be looking to turn things around with a quality performance here on Monday night on the road in Milwaukee. Chicago comes into this game with a losing record and this will also be the second game of a back-to-back between Chicago and another Central division opponent after they hosted the Detroit Pistons on Sunday afternoon. A victory within the division to wrap up this back-to-back for Chicago would go a long way especially with the way Milwaukee has been struggling as of late without Damien alert in the lineup. 

Milwaukee has been struggling as of late after coming into the year with so many expectations of being a dominant super team. Damian Lillard has missed time with injuries and that has hampered their performance throughout the last week or so and Milwaukee comes into this game, hovering around the .500 mark through their first ten games of the season. Milwaukee will have the rest advantage in this one after not being in action on Sunday and they will be looking to use that to their advantage and pick up a much needed early season victory at home against the Chicago Bulls. They will need to get Damian Lillard back into the lineup for the long haul of this season but for now games like this against an opponent Antetokounmpo is familiar with, Milwaukee should be able to handle. I expect this to be a close and competitive game throughout the entirety of the contest, but in the end, I do look for the Milwaukee Bucks to pick up the victory at home.

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Sacramento Kings – 10PM ET

The Cleveland Cavaliers or another team that came into the season with plenty of expectations who have been pretty disappointing throughout the early part of the year. Cleveland comes into this game with a losing record through their first handful of games this season and they will be looking to go on the road to the West Coast and get things turned around. For Cleveland it starts with grabbing a victory over Sacramento here on Monday night. Donovan Mitchell will have to lead the way for Cleveland but he will need other players in the rotation to step up and deliver if the Cavaliers want to go to one of the toughest environments in the league and pick up a victory here on Monday night. Cleveland is coming off of a solid victory over Golden State for the second time this season in their previous game. Now they will be looking for a second consecutive victory here on Monday night.

Sacramento comes into this game off to a slow start this season as well and they will be looking for a solid momentum boosting victory here on Monday night at home against Cleveland. After breaking a two decade long playoff drought last season, Sacramento had plenty of expectations coming into this season, but much like several other top teams in the league they have not lived up to those early season expectations either. They will be looking to get things rolling in the right direction and a victory over a playoff team from the eastern conference would help them do so, especially with them being at home in this one where they were so tough to beat last year. Sacramento comes into this game as winners of four out of their first eight games of the season and they will be looking for their fifth victory of the year here on Monday night at home against Cleveland. I expect this to be a back-and-forth game, but in the end, I do think the Sacramento Kings will come out on top of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
