Philadelphia 76ers @ Detroit Pistons – 7PM ET

The second of B2B games between the teams with the best and worst record in the Eastern Conference. The Philadelphia 76ers won five of the last six games, including the one over the Pistons on Saturday, 114-110.

Joel Embiid led the Sixers with a double-double of 33 points and game-high 14 rebounds. Ben Simmons had 20 points, nine boards, game-high seven assists, and game-high three steals, while Tobias Harris added 17 points and four rebounds.

The Detroit Pistons are still at the bottom of the EC with a 3-13 record and are on a four-game losing skid. Wayne Ellington led the team in a loss to Philadelphia with 17 points, four rebounds, and two steals. Svi Mikhailuk scored 15 points with four boards, while Sekou Doumbouya ended with 13 points and four rebounds.

We back the 76ers to secure the fourth consecutive victory here and stay at the top of the conference.

NBA Pick – Philadelphia 76ers (-263)
NBA Spread – Philadelphia 76ers -7 (-110)
Game Totals Pick – Over 215 (-110)

Toronto Raptors @ Indiana Pacers – 7PM ET

Another second of B2B games after these teams met on Sunday. The Toronto Raptors won that game 107-102 thanks to the great OG Anunoby who led them with 30 points, team-high eight rebounds, and game-high five steals. Fred VanVleet chipped in with 21 points, five boards, four assists, and three thefts, while Norman Powell had 20 points and six dimes.

The Indiana Pacers suffered their third defeat in four games and will be looking to get revenge for that narrow loss. Myles Turner led the Pacers with 25 points, game-high six blocks, four rebounds, and three steals.

Justin Holiday posted a double-double of 16 points and ten boards, while Domantas Sabonis recorded a double-double of ten points and game-high 19 rebounds, along with five dishes.

The Raptors are on the rise, but Indiana will restore its confidence with a win on Monday.

NBA Pick – Indiana Pacers (-133)
NBA Spread – Indiana Pacers -2.5 (-110)
Game Totals Pick – Under 216.5 (-110)

Charlotte Hornets @ Orlando Magic – 7PM ET

On the night of B2B games, we continue with another one. The Charlotte Hornets edged the Orlando Magic on Sunday, 107-104, thanks to an excellent fourth quarter display. They were down for most of the game, but a sturdy defense that kept the hosts to 31.6% from the floor in the final 12 minutes helped the Hornets to get the victory.

Gordon Hayward led the team with 39 points and team-high nine rebounds. Miles Bridges scored 18 points with six boards and two steals, while Devonte Graham contributed with 15 points and six assists.

The Orlando Magic now lost eight of the previous nine games, and it’s going to be hard to shake off that poor form. They dropped to a 7-10 record, which is not that bad considering all the injury problems they have.

Nikola Vucevic led the Magic with a double-double of 22 points and game-high 13 rebounds, along with four assists. Evan Fournier followed him with 21 points and six dimes, while Cole Anthony had 14 points, six assists, and five boards.

We’re going with the Hornets again, but it’s going to be another close encounter that could go either way.

NBA Pick – Charlotte Hornets (+108)
NBA Spread – Charlotte Hornets +2 (-110)
Game Totals Pick – Under 213.5 (-110)

Miami Heat @ Brooklyn Nets – 7:30PM ET

The final B2B game of the night will be played at Barclays Center. The Miami Heat are looking to avoid the third defeat in a row after losing the opener 128-124. Bam Adebayo exploded for a career-high 41 points, team-high nine assists, and five rebounds. Goran Dragic had 19 points and seven dishes, while Kendrick Nunn and Duncan Robinson contributed with 18 points and five boards apiece.

The Brooklyn Nets snapped a two-game losing skid with a victory over the Heat as they have three players with 20+ points. Kevin Durant led them with 31 points, four rebounds, four assists, and two blocks.

Kyrie Irving was right behind with 28 points, seven dimes, and six boars, Joe Harris scored 22, while James Harden posted a double-double of 12 points and game-high 11 assists, along with even rebounds.

The Nets shouldn’t miss on the opportunity to wrap up this mini-series with a win.

NBA Pick – Brooklyn Nets (-303)
NBA Spread – Brooklyn Nets -7.5 (-110)
Game Totals Pick – Over 235 (-110)

Los Angeles Lakers @ Cleveland Cavaliers – 8PM ET

The reigning champions will play their third straight game on the road in the Eastern Conference. They beat the Milwaukee Bucks and Chicago Bulls, and are massive favorites to defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday.

Anthony Davis led the Lakers in a 101-90 victory over Chicago with 37 points, six rebounds, and two steals. LeBron James posted a double-double of 17 points and game-high 11 boards, along with game-high six dishes, and a couple of thefts.

The Cleveland Cavaliers came back to earth following three wins in a row as they suffered a catastrophe at TD Garden against the Boston Celtics. The Cavs lost 141-103 and will be looking to forget that display quickly as possible. Collin Sexton led the team with 13 points, Jarrett Allen had 12 points and team-high seven rebounds, while Cedi Osman and Damyean Dotson scored 12 points each.

Los Angeles is the best team in the league for a reason, and there is no way they will lose to the Cavs like the Nets did in two consecutive games.

NBA Pick – Los Angeles Lakers (-526)
NBA Spread – Cleveland Cavaliers +10 (-110)
Game Totals Pick – Under 214.5 (-110)

Sacramento Kings @ Memphis Grizzlies – 8PM ET – POSTPONED

*This game was postponed due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols, a new date has not been confirmed at this time*

Denver Nuggets @ Dallas Mavericks – 8:30PM ET

The Denver Nuggets are on a three-game winning streak after defeating the Phoenix Suns in B2B games, both times in overtime. Nikola Jokic led the Nuggets in a 120-112 win with a double-double of 29 points and career-high 22 rebounds, along with team-high six assists.

Jamal Murray added 26 points, six boards, and five dishes, JaMychal Green chipped in with 16 points and five rebounds, while Michael Porter Jr. recorded a double-double of 14 points and 11 boards.

The Dallas Mavericks allowed a season-high 133 points in a 133-108 loss to the Houston Rockets, the loss that snapped a two-game winning run. Luka Doncic led the Mavs with 26 points, game-high eight assists, and five rebounds. Boban Marjanovic posted a double-double of 15 points and team-high 12 boards, while Tim Hardaway and Trey Burke combined for 28 points.

It’s going to be a H2H of the European superstars Jokic and Doncic, and on this occasion, we’re giving the Nuggets a slight advantage.

NBA Pick – Denver Nuggets (-120)
NBA Spread – Denver Nuggets -1.5 (-110)
Game Totals Pick – Over 222.5 (-110)

Boston Celtics @ Chicago Bulls – 9PM ET

The Boston Celtics were able to snap a three-game losing streak with a great 141-103 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Jaylen Brown led the C’s in their best offensive display of the campaign with 33 points.

Kemba Walker had 21 points, five rebounds, four assists, and three steals, Carsen Edwards scored 18 points with five boards, while Daniel Theis finished the game with 17 points and six rebounds.

The Chicago Bulls couldn’t record the fourth consecutive victory as they lost to the Los Angeles Lakers, 101-90. The Bulls scored just 33 points in the opening half and ended with the season-low 90.

Zach LaVine led them with a double-double of 21 points and team-high ten rebounds, along with four assists. Coby White added 14 points, seven boards, and four dimes, while Patrick Williams had 13 points and eight rebounds.

The Celtics will have Jayson Tatum back after he recovered from COVID-19, so we’re backing the visitors in this one.

NBA Pick – Boston Celtics (-333)
NBA Spread – Boston Celtics -7.5 (-110)
Game Totals Pick – Under 230.5 (-110)

San Antonio Spurs @ New Orleans Pelicans – 9PM ET

The San Antonio Spurs returned to winning ways against the Washington Wizards. Patty Mills led the Spurs in a 121-101 win with 21 points and four rebounds. Lonnie Walker and LaMarcus Aldridge combined for 31 points, while Dejounte Murray recorded a triple-double of 11 points, 11 rebounds, and ten dishes.

The New Orleans Pelicans are in a disastrous form of eight defeats in nine games. Their most recent loss came to the Minnesota Timberwolves, who were without both Karl-Anthony Towns and D’Angelo Russell, so you have a clear picture how bad the Pels are at the moment.

Brandon Ingram led the team in a 120-110 loss with 30 points and four rebounds. Eric Bledsoe followed him with 28 points and five boards, while Zion Williamson posted a double-double of 19 points and game-high 11 rebounds.

Maybe it’s time for the Pelicans’ GM Trajan Langdon to think about firing Stan Van Gundy, because this is not working. We’re going with the Spurs.

NBA Pick – San Antonio Spurs (-129)
NBA Spread – San Antonio Spurs +2.5 (-110)
Game Totals Pick – Over 221.5 (-110)

Minnesota Timberwolves @ Golden State Warriors – 10PM ET

The Minnesota Timberwolves snapped a four-game losing skid with a 120-110 upset of the New Orleans Pelicans, and all of that without KAT and D-Lo. Naz Reid led the Wolves with 20 points and four rebounds.

Anthony Edwards scored 18, Jarrett Culver and Malik Beasley added 16 apiece, while Jarred Vanderbilt recorded a double-double of 16 points and game-high 11 boards.

The Golden State Warriors have an excellent chance to return to winning ways after losing the last two games to the New York Knicks and Utah Jazz. Stephen Curry led the Warriors in a 127-108 defeat with 24 points, team-high seven rebounds, and team-high seven assists. James Wiseman contributed with 15 points and five boards, while Andrew Wiggins had 13 points, five rebounds, and game-high three blocks.

The Warriors are hoping to return to over .500 and we’re backing them to do it on Monday.

NBA Pick – Golden State Warriors (-345)
NBA Spread – Golden State Warriors -8 (-110)
Game Totals Pick – Under 225.5 (-110)

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Portland Trail Blazers – 10PM ET

The Oklahoma City Thunder lost five of the previous six games, and are on a three-game losing streak. They lost each of their three road games in a row, and it’s going to be hard to snap that negative run on Monday.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder in a 108-100 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers with 23 points, team-high seven assists, and six rebounds. George Hill scored 22, Hamidou Diallo added 14 points, five boards and two steals, while Isaiah Roby recorded a double-double of ten points and ten rebounds.

The Portland Trail Blazers beat the New York Knicks 116-113 thanks to a great display from Damian Lillard, who ended the tilt with 39 points, game-high eight assists, and five rebounds. Anfernee Simmons scored 16, Derrick Jones Jr. had 14 points and five boards, while Carmelo Anthony chipped in with 12 points, four rebounds, and two rejections.

Although playing without CJ McCollum, we have no doubt the Blazers are a better team and that will get a win here.

NBA Pick – Portland Trail Blazers (-213)
NBA Spread – Portland Trail Blazers -6 (-110)
Game Totals Pick – Under 222 (-110)
